The three wavy things at the bottom: e.g. could be Walsall, WBA, The s***, Aldershot, Brighton & Hove Albion,Colchester, Sheff Wed, Spurs, Wycombe, man City, Crystal palace, or Bradford City - all teams with birds on their badge basically everyone ! Correct. interesting though. made me think. never realised how many clubs have birds on their badge. also chelters & swinedon and any other non-entity who can't be bothered to find a proper nickname and have 'The Robins' plus the office team for 'The Sun' of course

I'm Victoria Coren Complete possible endings for the four-element sets. Two Feathery-like things sticking up a bit: Bury, Tranmere Rovers, Port Vale,... Lion with a chick's head: Crystal Palace, Concord Rangers, Southport,... That twisty thing on the top right: Edgar Davids, Leonardo, Duncan Edwards,... The horny serpent: Cheltenham Town, Wrexham, Charlton Athletic,... The three wavy things at the bottom: Liverpool, Swansea City, Norwich City,... The eye of Horus: Bristol City, Wycombe Wanderers, Swindon Town,... You are most definitely NOT Victoria Coren !

Shilton Sunderland Chelsea Wilson Liverpool Villa Preston Moore Brooking Hoddle Wright Walker Neville Spurs Beckham Cole I'll have a go at the wall... Shilton / Moore / Neville / Beckham = Have all captained England Sunderland / Wilson / Wright / Cole = Have all played for Arsenal Liverpool / Villa / Chelsea / Spurs = Have all won the FA Cup. Preston / Walker / Brooking / Hoddle = Um ...err ... have all been on Rovers books as a goalkeeper? (well, Wilson has I suppose).

Sunderland / Villa / Brooking / Hoddle - have all scored in FA Cup Finals, if you take it as Alan Sunderland (1979) and Ricardo Villa (1981). Wright / Wilson / Shilton / Walker - are all ex-England keepers (Richard/Bob/Peter/Ian) Moore / Neville / Beckham / Cole - all ex-England captains Liverpool / Chelsea / Spurs / Preston - have all won the First Division. Could be close with that one.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Preston, is right but for a bit more specific reason. The rest aren't what I have.

Victoria - I couldn't answer any of your questions, but I have enjoyed reading other people's efforts. I actually do better with your televised programme (slightly). Love to David BTW.
