Not what I was thinking for any of those. Just thought I'd get the ball rolling. Yeah, on the other forum there would have been twenty-odd replies by now. Most of them would have been about breasts or knobs, though.

Lion/chick = Brentford (Griffin Park) ? The lion with a chicks head is a sphinx. It's not a clue, it's just a thing they have on the TV show (Only Connect).(Presumably coz they're too clever to have A,B, and C.) Although your answer is pretty clever.

That twisty thing on the top right: ending could be the famous goalkeeper Don Atello - All been teenage ninja turtles.
Horny serpent - ending could be Athletic Bilbo - red and white kit.

There is no lion with a chick's head on Only Connect, nor is it a sphinx - it's just a lion.
They used to have A, B, C.... in the early series, but in Greek - Alpha, Beta, Gamma.... - but later changed it to hieroglyphs.
I can't answer any of the questions tho!! I'll keep trying.

is that a rhetorical question? Eye of Horus of course That's correct, and the final element of the set is Man Utd.
