A great summary from a gashead on Facebook about Wael most of which I agree with "The Pros Building of the Training Ground, Capitalisation of the debt. Being a decent human being. The Cons Not completing the UWE deal and the Fruit Market fiasco The Ben Garner/ Paul Tisdale experiments. The current state of the ground. Relegation to League 2. And letting the Scouse mafia run the club". Sounds about right. Though aren't we now knocking down the Quarters and starting again?

Wael being bought out. "Bristol Rovers Football Club would like to announce that an agreement has been reached for Hussain Al Saeed to acquire all shares (45 per cent) held by Wael and Samer Al Qadi. This marks a significant moment in the club's journey towards long-term growth. The acquisition will be completed over an 18-month period, during which Mr Hussain Al Saeed will provide all funding to support the club’s ongoing operations and development. Mr Wael Al Qadi will remain club President until this time." www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/club-statement-shareholder-agreement-reached Wael is a decent chap.

I have been very critical of some of his decisions. On balance though, I think he means well. He just went about things the wrong way. So I am happy with the comment "Wael is a decent chap".

Yes he does mean well.On a rare interview,we were all expecting news on a new stadium and he replied saying he had installed new hand driers in the toilets.Even then I couldn't get cross with him.
