And I will counter that the MacDonalds was in fact closed and the whole episode was an act with no walk in customers. Absolutely, I completely agree. It was a staged event but it worked. ππ Did you see the crowds outside? His popularity is undeniable. If Harris farts, she loses..

The New Republic stuff is quite funny...... "Trump enjoys public approval on the economy, even though his agenda for working people is borderline nonexistent, whereas Harris has a detailed economic agenda for working and middle class people alike." - Really?

X is just a vehicle. The article is in the New York magazine and has been widely reported. The whole thing with Trump and MacDonalds was fake.

The funny thing about this election is that most of the media are against Trump,he has been found guilty in court,he is accused of stirring up a riot and yet he is still neck and neck with Harris in the polls...how bad must she be ?

Have you seen the media coverage? I am convinced Trump supporters are descendants of the Branch Davidians left over from Waco Texas.

Donald Trump files complaint against Labour Party over 'blatant foreign interference' in the US election..by Daniel Bates in New York
ichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/1024/cpsprodpb/de70/live/3fd81570-9103-11ef-89ae-5575c76d98e6.png Donald Trump has accused the 'far-left' Labour Party of 'blatant foreign interference' in the US electionDonald Trump put his relationship with Sir Keir Starmer under strain last night after accusing the 'far-left' Labour Party of 'blatant foreign interference' in the US election. Lawyers for the Republican presidential candidate have filed a complaint to the Federal Election Commission, accusing Labour of making 'illegal foreign campaign contributions' which was 'accepted' by Kamala Harris's campaign. The comments come weeks after Mr Trump and Sir Keir held a two-hour dinner in New York, after which the former president said the Prime Minister was 'very popular'. Mr Trump's camp cited a now-deleted post on LinkedIn by Sofia Patel, Labour's head of operations, which said 100 current and former staffers were going to be volunteering in battleground states such as North Carolina and Nevada. Rules about foreigners working in US elections are strict and state that they must volunteer and cannot receive any payment. It also references a report in the Washington Post that suggested 'strategists linked to Britain's Labour Party have been offering advice to Kamala Harris about how to earn back disaffected voters and run a winning campaign from the centre left'. The complaint also mentioned reports that Morgan McSweeney, the PM's chief of staff, and Matthew Doyle, Downing Street's director of communications, met with Ms Harris's team at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago over the summer. Help from Labour could amount to an 'illegal foreign national contribution', wrote Gary Lawkowski, deputy general counsel for the Trump campaign. That would be especially the case if 'foreign nationals' are 'exercising direction' over the Labour staffers as could well be the case, the document stated. Campaign co-manager Susie Wiles said in a statement that Americans will 'once again reject the oppression of big government that we rejected in 1776', another nod to America's rejection of British rule. She said: 'The Harris campaign's acceptance and use of this illegal foreign assistance is just another feeble attempt in a long line of anti-American election interference'. In comments that will likely be embarrassing for Sir Keir, Ms Wiles added that the 'far-left Labour Party has inspired Kamala's dangerously liberal policies and rhetoric'. She wrote: 'In recent weeks, they have recruited and sent party members to campaign for Kamala in critical battleground states, attempting to influence our election'.

Imagine if the backlash in the USA against foreign interference in the election by labour swings the election for Trump...he can be vindictive, maybe his first action as President would be to expel the British ambassador and say that the only British politician that he will deal with is Farage...cheers sir keir.

So X is now classed as media? π So independent journalism is acceptable now?π€ X has been part of the social media landscape since it's inception as Twitter. Journalists, both as individuals and the publications they work for have been posting their articles, or links to, since day one.

Journalists, both as individuals and the publications they work for have been posting their articles, or links to, since day one. I've understood that from day one,and I completely agree. However...if myself or indeed you, posted something on here that our different sides disagree with, sometimes what we could have shared would be classed as ..." oh something you saw on twitter" See the landscape of acceptance is a difficult one to balance today. I personally think everything on X is Fair game, and it's up to the reader to understand it's content, and indeed accept it or challenge it.
