In a sense, politically we agree on most things, so this act I can't say I'm completely against as come on, both the Democrats and all historic Republican party's do the same in some fashion or form, but not that blatant. But while I like him, I don't Trust him and the Russian money you bring up does have some substance to it.

Bribing electorates is banned in most democratic countries. The man bought Twitter/X for USD 44billion and its value has now fallen in value to around USD 9.4billion [according to Fidelityβs Blue Chip Growth Fund]. Still I suppose it was worth it to get Donald Trump back on the platform and Musk can afford to throw money away.

So Musk is pushing that boundary Point of order. He is not paying people to vote but to sign a petition. PS - I also think it's a stupid idea.

Watching Politics Live today, one guest is a right of centre journalist, commenting on X and Elon Musk, she said that although she doesn't follow certain people, she has been inundated with videos or links to right wing news stories or to Elon Musk's own links.
She feel Musk has far too much direct influence.

Labour party upseeting people in the US by sending 100 activists to help Harris ? Some Republicans calling it election interference by a foreign power...some analysts saying this could backfire the same as Obama joining the Remain mob pished people off over here.

As I mentioned before, John Major was caught trying to dig up dirt on Bill Clinton to help George Bush.

I cannot imagine the average American voters would recognise a Labour Party politician.

No but the media over there will, there was an article on Radio4 this morning and that BBC woman in America (i cant remember her name) was saying this could backfire and in such a tight race it could be important...funny coming from her because up until quite recently she was positive that Trump would lose.

I don't believe that either. Outside of the "Beltway" around DC most local TV channels and nationals, ABC, NBC and CBS plus Fox barely mention UK politics. Royal Family yes, but current politicians, hardly at all.

And I will counter that the MacDonalds was in fact closed and the whole episode was an act with no walk in customers.
