Trump can have his own thread. Anyway: Republicans are 5/6 Democrats 6/5 www.270towin.com/ is a good toy. As ever it will be down to the swing states. Odds here for Republican victory: Arizona 4/5 Trump 2.4% ahead in the polls Michigan 11/10 Trump 2.2% ahead in the polls Nevada 4/6 Trump 6.8% ahead in the polls Pennsylvania Evens Trump 2.4% ahead in the polls Wisconsin Evens Biden 1.2% ahead in the polls So the betting suggests that Democrats win the rust belt seats - Republicans win Arizona & Nevada. Giving Democrats a win 269-268! So this is rather at odds with Republicans 5/6 to win. They are also suggesting that the polls are wrong and it's a silent Democrat voter that turns the tables. Eh? This makes no sense, as UK and US elections have shown repeatedly that the silent voter is on the right. Therefore something doesn't add up. There is an anomaly somewhere. Which presents an investment opportunity. Republicans to take Nevada at 4/6 looks like good value.

Depends on who casts the votes, and who counts them with the 'silent majority' in the US!
Whoever wins, God help America! For the Democrats you are really voting for whoever is the VP. Biden won't last long.

Biden won't last long. That may be the case. But you have to admit after the drama of the Trump years when leaders in his administration were sacked or moved on with alarming regularity, the almost boring stability of the last 4 years has been refreshing. And, they added 275,000 to non farm payroll last month.

Well it's the leading stat on US employment data and an indicator of the state of the economy. Here ycharts.com/indicators/us_total_nonfarm_payrolls#:~:text=US%20Total%20Nonfarm%20Payrolls%20is,1.77%25%20from%20one%20year%20ago.

What is impressive about 275,000 when the population is over 335 million? I would imagine that in some months the figure you quoted goes the other way.

If you should follow things like this then you would know that this stat was way above expectations and indicative of an expanding economy. It also indicates that the Fed will be cautious about lowering interest rates

Couple that with the Presidents clearly deteriorating mental health, questions will be asked and votes lost. Mind a fox eg does'nt bite you,or you may become a rabid loony yourself.

And yet, the so called ' president elect' is now a convicted felon...as if that matters 🤔, yet the dumb heads in the US want.... (this man is a millionaire remember) to pay ..and have done..all his fines that have been dished out to him...and they say Biden is failing...you couldn't make that up if you tried

The BoE will cut Interest Rates at their next meeting, just as the ECB has just done. Are you suggesting we all vote Tory?

In the UK economic growth for April was zilch

Every responsible and loving parent and grandparent in the USA will be pleased that Hunter Biden has been found guilty, what could be a worse nightmare than and alcoholic crackhead with a gun ? He probably bought it because drug use had made him paranoid, thankfully he was disarmed before he went on a kill crazy rampage fuelled by drugs and booze.
