If C4 did that I would be shocked and they would be in deep trouble with OFCOM. I don't believe it, this smells of "misdirection" to divert from the realities of Reform's support base CH4 might be innocent, the production company may of fooled them.Perhaps. I would doubt that.

Councillor quits Labour over Starmer Bangladesh comment Members of the British Asian community shopping in Tower Hamlets, east London IMAGE SOURCE, GETTY IMAGES Image caption, Tower Hamlets in east London has a high British Bangladeshi population Article information Author, Hannah Miller Role, Political correspondent 27 June 2024 The deputy leader of the Labour group on Tower Hamlets council in east London has resigned from the party after Sir Keir Starmer made reference to Bangladesh when answering a question about the deportation of illegal migrants. In a statement posted on X, Councillor Sabina Akhtar said: “I can not be proud of the party any more when the leader of the party singles out my community and insults my Bangladeshi identity.” Answering questions from an audience of Sun readers on Monday, the Labour leader said: "At the moment people coming from countries like Bangladesh are not being removed." Sir Keir had been asked what Labour was going to do to deport people who arrived in the UK illegally. During a campaign visit to Staffordshire on Thursday, he said he "certainly wasn't intending to cause any concern or offence" to British Bangladeshis who were "making such an enormous contribution to our country". All he had been saying, Sir Keir added, was that as far as asylum seeker returns were concerned, Bangladesh was a safe country and one that had a returns agreement with the UK. If Labour won the election, he wanted to "build on the very strong relationship" the party already had with the Bangladeshi community in Britain, he said. However, Ms Akhtar told the BBC she felt the Labour leader had “singled out” the Bangladeshi community "who have loved and have always been loyal to the Labour Party". The councillor accused the party's front bench of hardening its "tone" and "language" on migration to target traditionally Conservative voters. "It feels like our vote has been taken for granted just to please a small group of people," she said. In a video clip circulating on social media and seen by the BBC, Sir Keir's comments in Monday's Q&A session have been edited and taken out of context. At the end of the clip, the video encourages viewers to “vote for independent candidates”. It is not clear who put it together. Labour has described the clip as “misinformation”. But a party candidate in the general election - in Bethnal Green and Stepney, which is in Tower Hamlets - said there had been concern. Rushanara Ali, the first British Bangladeshi to be elected to the Commons and MP for Bethnal Green and Bow until Parliament was dissolved last month, said: "There has been considerable concern and upset following the release of a clip of the Labour Party Leader." She added that she had been “in close contact with his team to relay the concerns in our community”. She would "always work hard to ensure the interests and concerns of the British Bangladeshi community are at the heart of policy in a future Labour government", Ms Ali said. A graphic which reads 'More on general election 2024'
😂😂😂😂now capt flip flop has upset the Bangladeshis 😂😂, he’s having to apologise to these lot , the muzzies , trans etc etc , weak as s**t , when the commies win the election you can see a mile away who will be controlling the commies 🙄🙄, who’d of thought

The question receives widespread applause from the studio audience. Farage says he's done more to drive the far right out of British politics more than anyone else alive, to a smattering of laughs in the audience. He says he "destroyed" the British National Party. He then goes on to reference the Channel 4 investigation, and reiterates his claim that the man at the centre of the investigation - Andrew Parker - is an actor. "This is a total and utter set-up," he insists. For context: Channel 4 has said it stands by “our rigorous and duly impartial journalism which speaks for itself”. "We did not pay the Reform UK canvasser or anyone else in this report. Mr Parker was not known to Channel 4 News and was filmed covertly via the undercover operation,” a spokesperson said earlier. Bruce interrupts to explain the context, and says the Channel 4 report states that a canvasser for Nigel Farage made some "extraordinarily racist comments". She says Channel 4 stands by their journalism, and that the journalists met the canvasser at Reform UK's headquarters. "Who set it up?" she pushes. Farage says that Channel 4 used a production company, and that the canvasser was in his "alter ego". "This was designed to hurt us, and sadly some people believe it." ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/800/cpsprodpb/vivo/live/images/2024/6/28/83ddc53e-b736-45ae-a781-96ba7ab4c43d.jpgBruce challenges Farage on his record and that of his candidates. The host talks about language used by the candidates, and says she is struggling to say some of it. A candidate in Southend East and Rochford referred to people entering the UK on small boats as "scum" while another candidate said "black people should get off their lazy arses". Why are you standing by them, Bruce asks. Farage again says he has had problems with the vetting company Reform hired, and claims it is clear the "establishment" does not want him and his party to do well. Bruce interrupts, and says these comments have been widely reported. They're in the public domain, she says. "Why are they still standing as your candidates?" Farage says that they've been disowned "in most cases". When pressed further on why they are still standing, he says: "I have no idea!" to laughter in the room. Farage says he hasn't been leader for long, and that he inherited a "start-up" party. "I wouldn't want anything to do with [these candidates]," he says, and affirms he has withdrawn his support from them. Turning to immigration, another audience members asks: "Will you admit our country is nothing without a rich history of immigration?" Farage says the immigration policy used to work, but is now out of control. He says the numbers of people coming to the UK are "literally unimaginable" and diminishing the quality of life of people living here. ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/800/cpsprodpb/vivo/live/images/2024/6/28/22135bd4-d921-4311-a487-11ae0b14109c.jpgThe next question comes from Dee Williams: "Your core pledge concerning illegal migration states that migrants in small boats could be returned to France. How will this be achieved?" An audience member asks Farage, if you had to seek asylum from a different country, how would you like to be treated? He says we have always understood what a "genuine refugee" is, and claims that the vast majority of people crossing the English Channel "do not qualify as refugees". We'll get out colleagues from BBC Verify to look into this shortly. Farage says that the UK has gone from being the world's 7th biggest exporter to the 4th biggest. Not in goods, Bruce points out, but in services. Farage says there are two "massive disappointments" with Brexit, including that the UK did not "free up" small businesses and get rid of rules and regulations after Brexit. Farage says he wants to lift the threshold at which people start paying tax to £20,000 per year. Bruce challenges Farage on this point, and that under Reform's pledges on tax, the top 10% of households would receive 28p per pound, but the bottom 10% would only get 2p per pound. Farage says this is wrong in percentage terms, claiming the lowest income people will receive more. More detail on that tax pledge - Reform says it would raise the minimum amount someone earns before paying income tax from £12,570 to £20,000 a year, and the threshold for the 40% rate from £50,270 to £70,000. ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/800/cpsprodpb/vivo/live/images/2024/6/28/5d5581bc-78ca-4082-bae5-df559c6bbd50.jpg

Just to precis the previous monologue
"One Question Time audience member asked him: “What is it about your party that attracts racists and extremists, whether you say you want them or not?"
Indeed that is the question.
On the rest we know that Farage, like Trump, just makes it up. Nothing he says on the economy or taxation adds up.
Pure unadulterated bo**ox.
But it doesn't matter to him, because it's all about immigration.

Parkers normal every day voice is apparently not like the voice in the secret film or when he spoke to Reform people. He was speaking in a different voice. It's all a bit of a coincidence the production company hit the 'jackpot',just before the general election and their 'star performer'actually is an actor. They're the people to investigate ( production company ) and no doubt they have friends/contacts at CH4. CH4 do have form for stitching up the Right, don't they. The actual investigation will be thorough.

You're obsessed with Farage and Reform Oldie, absolutely obsessed . The usual suspects remember all too well the Brexit referendum and are scared the 'masses' are going to have their say again. A Reform Government in 2029 is a long way off,but already it does'nt look such a huge and dramatic possibility. Britons have had enough.

Reform are a small party just starting out. I think they only have something like five full-time staff. They don't have the massive resources of Labour or the Tories. They don't have a 'central office' etc, so yes, there will be idiots attached to them but as they are found they are booted out. It will take time to develop the party. What have Labour done about the racist that is Dianne Abbott? How long was Keith Vaz allowed to continue in the Labour Party? Idiots do attached themselves to political parties but that doesn't mean the whole party reflects their views. Find them, kick them out, from whatever party. It's pretty juvenile to attempt to discredit a whole party on the views of just one man.And THAT is how desperate the MSM are to discredit Reform. BBC ran an article about all the 'wrong uns' in Reform, having trawled through all the candidates social media posts over the last few years. There were some pretty vile comments, and I'm not defending them. Just waiting for the BBC to do the same for all Labour, Conservative, LibDems, SNP and Green candidates. No, not a chance. The MSM bias against Reform reflects how genuinely worried the establishment is about the only party that wants to smash the disastrous status quo of a once proud nation. A nation that is now on it knees and in danger of losing it's very identity due to uncontrolled mass immigration. The good news is the public aren't buying it any more. Reform last three polls - 17%, 18%, 16%. All hail Nigel Farage. He's proud to be British. So am I. Buy that man a pint. This is it.Reform arent just up against Lib/Lab/Con but also their mouthpiece media...the BBC rely on Lib/Lab/Con for their existence they know that their time would be over if Reform won....and this is the reason why Lib/Lab/Con hate GB news. Apparently Reform have been doing very well on Tik Tok, social media is very important now and its more of a level playing field for all of the parties.
