Scott Sinclair is staying at Rovers. 1 year deal. We need another proven goalscorer I think, always seems to be the problem that we don't sign one. The new guy from Middlesbrough seems to have only scored 2 goals in 43 appearances from what his record says, both goals in non league too, I guess decent strikers are expensive, but can see us left lacking on this department again.

Suspect the first loanee may be the answer for now.Was hoping Brown would have done much better but locals down here tell me he was never an out and out striker. You can say that again!!!!!

It was Ruel Sotiriou from Orient that is a striker, I got a bit confused somehow, he looks like he could be a reasonable player. Six goals in eight games for Orient in 2022 and league 2 player month for March 2022, doesn't say much about how he's done since then, but could be decent.

Yeh,he looks like he gives 100%,a busy player. With the right strike partner and coaching he might turn out a good un.

He was a real livewire and caused us all sorts of problems in the game up there and I was glad he was surprisingly subbed off after about 70 mins. Seemed to be a fans favourite there too. Only one game I know but looks an exciting and decent signing I think. Hoping we can recruit a couple more midfield and forwards as our recruitment so far has been heavy on defenders

Hoping we can recruit a couple more midfield and forwards as our recruitment so far has been heavy on defenders I am in agreement. Would be good if we were able to sign a proven striker at L1 level before the window closes, someone who excites and inspires us. I know little about the signings we have made to date as nearly all are from lower league, and have little or no exp at L1 level. The only mental notes I have made, that we appear to be recruiting to play a 6-3-1 formation, and on paper it looks like we are assembling a decent L2 side. Of course we may have recruited a few gem’s, I do hope so, but think we will struggle this season and with Evans heading out, we need L1 players or above to come in to give the team experience.

If it's proven experience you desire, then I hope they are proper men capable of mentoring, coaching, and setting an example to the shiny younger hopes. Millwall Tone type of leaders.

I did. Dad took us to both. Plus I loved it Its unfortunate to see the tribalism that subsequently made this unthinkable, for which I hold them almost entirely responsible, of course. I certainly don't hate them, and regard them with mild distaste, annoyance and displeasure whenever I encounter them or their 'fanbase' - the same sentiment I extend to something I step on in the street. It’s a lot different for me. Due to my Polish parents, I was a rarity amongst the 2nd generation kids, being Rovers. The poles saw the red in the Polish flag as something they liked with the 82. I also was played with other 2nd gen in st.pauls and still have more friends from that side than at Rovers. It’s academic now as the club is unrecognisable. To the one I grew up with and truly loved. I had a 6 year hiatus after the nearly year but came back, I do not see that happening, not now I have transformed my life. I also now am a German shepherd dad and am boxing at 60. I cannot go back. I prefer going to my local park and watching the independent rovers supporters teams and made forever fc
