Tuesday 22nd October 2024 - League One
Wrexham 0 Huddersfield Town 0
Match report by BBC Sport
Huddersfield Town frustrated hosts Wrexham in a tense game of few chances between two of League One's promotion hopefuls.
Phil Parkinson's Wrexham were unable to break down the Terriers' defence, while Michael Duff's side were equally frustrated at the other end.
The clearest opportunities for both sides came in the second period, with Wrexham striker Paul Mullin heading over late on to sum up their display.
Huddersfield's Bojan Radulovic earlier saw his 81st-minute effort blocked by home goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo.
Wrexham stay second in the table, but are now four points behind leaders Birmingham City, while Huddersfield rise a place to fifth.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said:
"It was a hard-fought draw. We were the better side, dominated for long periods and couldn't quite get the moment [to score].
"I thought we got Elliot [Lee] on the ball in some good positions and we moved the ball round well.
"They changed their shape, they flattened out the midfield in the second half and credit to them for that, and it became an even tighter game - but it was always going to be like that, no quarter given."

Saturday 26th October 2024 - League One
Charlton Athletic 2 Wrexham 2 (Coventry 16 og, Cannon 72)
Match report by BBC Sport
Matt Godden's penalty deep in time added on rescued a 2-2 draw for Charlton Athletic against Wrexham at the Valley.
Phil Parkinson's Wrexham side took the lead on 16 minutes as Tom O'Connor's free-kick went in off Conor Coventry.
The hosts were level just seven minutes later as Macaulay Gillesphey's looping header from a Josh Edwards delivery beat Arthur Okonkwo.
Elliot Lee rattled the crossbar before Ollie Rathbone's curling effort was kept out by Will Mannion as the visitors pushed for a winner.
And substitute Andy Cannon's left-footed drive from close range found the net in the 72nd minute as Wrexham restored their lead.
But Godden scored from the penalty spot with 97 minutes on the clock after Max Cleworth was penalised for a handball to claim a share of the points.
Wrexham stay four points adrift of League One leaders Birmingham City and fall to third, while Nathan Jones' side sit 11th.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson told BBC Sport Wales:
"It's never a penalty in a million years, Max [Cleworth] has got his arm down his side. If that happens 50 times, the ref might give it once.
"We've restricted a team to long diagonal balls against us, we've controlled the game and we've played some unbelievable football. I feel for the lads.
"The lads were brilliant today. Everything we set out to do against their shape we did. I'm very proud of the performance of the lads."

Sunday 3rd November - FA Cup - 1st Round
Harrogate Town 1 Wrexham 0
Match report by BBC Sport
League Two Harrogate Town pulled off one of the upsets of the round, as they beat League One Wrexham 1-0 to reach the second round of the FA Cup.
The game's only goal came midway through the first half, as Jack Muldoon was left unmarked from a Harrogate corner, and his glancing header found the back of the net.
Despite starting the day 38 places higher in the Football League, Wrexham failed to carve out any meaningful chances for extended periods, as Harrogate defended diligently.
Wrexham's best chance for a leveller came just before the hour mark, but Harrogate goalkeeper James Belshaw denied George Dobson from close range.
The Sulphurites move on to the second round of the FA Cup for a fifth straight season, and will be in Sunday evening's draw.
Phil Parkinson's men, meanwhile, are out in the first round of the competition for the first time since 2021 - when they were also knocked out by Harrogate.
