Where did the rumour come from, that the "far Right" were going to protest last night? That'll be interesting to find out. It's now very clear that the "far right" were never going to be out on Wednesday as their is no reliable source to suggest that anything was ever planned. It was the government,and media's propaganda machine working in over drive to try to continue to control the narrative, that the only problem in our country today is the "far right"! They said that there were going to protests around the country that never existed, in order to create some kind of ' victory' for the Counter demos to to continue to pour more fuel onto the fire of 'anti British " hysteria that is going on right now. I'm pretty sure that if 200-500 thugs or Hooligans had decided to have gone to old market on Wednesday,that they would have dealt with 2,000 of the Antifa and the Counter demo very easy and caused any havoc that they would had intended to do. The media pushing the idea that they faught off the "Far right'....and were all warriors and so brave is first, nauseating,and then laughable..and it's a lie. Logically, if the "far right" really wanted to attack whatever that place that the counter demo were protecting,then why would they have announced it before hand? I know they are thick thugs, but come on..🤔🥴 |

What for wanting people to have a platform for free speech? Musk is vital for free speech. Musk has been deleting many of his tweets since receiving masses of criticism about attacking the UK, trying to increase tension here. Also promoting the two tier system loved by Bas. I've never been one for conspiracy theories but its been interesting noting how suddenly with a Labour Government, just a few weeks in, that doesn't kowtow to millionaire donors or have millions from Russia, that the right have suddenly risen, Farage, Robinson, attacks & disinformation on well used Russian information sites - all quickly passed on, and now Musk and others, seems more than a coincidence. |

So the police and Labour work as quickly if not quicker on this one and you still stay there is a two tier system and only did it because 'they had little choice' Not because they did the same job they did on the rioters and looters. I didn't see it on any Gov websites or broadcast on TV. I dont think that you live in Bristol but I want to know where this rumour of a march from Old Market to Easton originated ? is it one that you saw somewhere ? because as soon as I saw it I thought "thats BS". icegas was present at the Castle Green events on Saturday so i think that he is in a better position than you to say who would have 'won',I saw a lot of pictures,it was obvious who it was there and they arent 'far right' they were there for a ruck as icegas has said before. I have said all along that I dont think these rioters were 'far right' its copy cat riots since the first Southport one, old drunks and young chavs having some 'fun' and looters taking advantage of the chaos, today they mentioned some couple returning from the bingo getting involved... I can remember a few riots in Bristol that started after a particular incident but spread once others came along and joined in,the 2011 riots followed a similar pattern and fizzled out as quickly as these latest riots. Please dont take this as criticism or name calling,its an observation...virtually all of your posts try to link anything negative to 'the far right' 'Brexit' 'tories' etc etc, no obsession is good for you. |

I note your observation, but from another perspective there are elements that have been involved with and were behind a lot of the disinformation guiding the far right - rumours began about the 'small boat asylum seeker murderer' from known Russian sites, donations to the Tories from Russian backed donors, the refusal by Johnson to publish the Russia report and the fact he is mates with Russian KGB connected elements, the known interference in the Brexit campaigns, etc. There are lot of people involved in those activities who are at the forefront of what has been going on recently, although some are stepping back now that sh!t has hit the fan..... |

Fair comments Cheshire, when the England black players missed the penalties that time there was horrific online abuse apparently the majority of that came for outside England,again that could be Russia etc stirring the pot. We still dont know who started the Bristol 'far right march' rumour though,we can blame the internet for rumours but I remember a rumour in the late 70s early 80s that the NF intended to march through Shirehampton,that proved to be nonsense too. |

It's interesting that there are a few on here trying rather hard to prove the far right haven't been the main or even partial instigators of the recent troubles.
I would suggest whether on the ground or stepping back, the far right are up to their armpits in this, and if not involved directly are using their poor uneducated troops on the ground, ie the thugs and football hooligans (much the same thing).
But that aside, I just wonder why there have been so many posts giving some form of evidence or opinion suggesting the far right are squeaky clean in this issue. What's the motivation for that then?
