I think Musk has been on the verge of letting power go to his head for some time and in recent months he's gone a bit loopy. Very dangerous man. |

Wonder what happened to that two tier legal system. You'll have to see what happens with the charge and how he pleads. Ha! Come on Chesh,the man,a Labour Councillor,told people 'we have to' "cut the throats" 'of people' and he made a 'cut throat ' gesture an all. It's been filmed. So even considering the Two Tier Kier system ,they can't not at least investigate this incident. My guess is he won't get found guilty of whatever the potential crime is.Labour will sack him and he'll become an independent . I'm reminded of the Labour MP,whatshername,she threatened to acid attack somebody.Went to Court,found not guilty.Sacked by Labour.Carried on in the House as an Independent. Bas. I am making the point that both Labour and the Police have acted quickly on this one. There is no two tier system. |

I think he may have miscalculated this one and the depth of feeling amongst the public that the riots were unacceptable, as shown by the huge turnouts the other evening. It's easy to read forums like this and the people who pop up all the time on social media, and maybe to think there is a massive festering boil waiting to explode. We hear a lot about the silent majority wanting or demanding change. It seems the real peace loving silent majority might have spoken, and Nigel Farage has been caught out. |

It looks strange,this protest Wednesday night.
Rumours of a national riot.
Thousands of people come out to 'protest' against it.
The Right did'nt show because they were never going to show.
The Left claim a victory.
The media mic vandal Copper looks very happy,but the Right did'nt show because they were never going to show.
2TK ignores calls to talk about immigration. The press feel they have to support this - and what was - a shallow victory.
Some big gas lighting manipulation gone on here.
I think the anti mass immigration,Islamophobic in Islams current form,pro Britain, pro Israel,pro free speech,pro gay rights,anti 2 tier policing, etc,sides next move might be another big peaceful march,if they get organised on it.

He said something like , but the same meaning,I'm surrounded by brick layers,plasterers,farmers etc and they all say there is too much immigration.

How are sentences for rioters being handed down so quickly ?
One of the questions that many people might be asking this week is how sentences for rioters seem to be moving at such a "swift" pace - as the prime minister has described it.
Tana Adkin, chair of the Criminal Bar Association which represents barristers in England and Wales, explains to the Today programme this morning that part of the reason is because offenders have entered guilty pleas.
Judges are responsible for listing cases, she says, and do so in a "conveyor belt" manner.
These cases are not being given priority, she adds, but because there are more officers and people within the Crown Prosecution Service working on the riots, the cases are getting to court "very quickly".
If there's a guilty plea, Adkin explains, the case can be committed to the crown court quickly. And if it's serious, a judge can deal with the matter on "the same day".
"The difficulty comes if the case is not a guilty plea but is a trial because then a lot more work needs to be done," Adkin says.
The waiting time for a trial is currently around 18 months - that's true of any individual allegedly involved in recent disorder as of anyone else.
