I hope that your wife suffered no physical or mental injury from the bombings...be aware though that apparently PTSD can take many years to affect people, some people on the tube when the Kings Cross fire happened suffered from mental health problems which were eventually diagnosed as PTSD.. I do think she has PTSD, although not from that. I really hope that she will be ok, I think that all GPs have a mental health person now, the thing is that lots of people dont want to admit to having a problem and try to keep everything bottled up.

Not in the Islam murder part of this thread at least.

x.com/DaveAtherton20/status/1819283371614220392?t=YEQ1thSwCNGHI7EBsBIpjQ&s=19I think many in this country feel this way after his press conference yesterday about the British subjects. Starmer has little legitimacy in the eyes of the British working class: Labour only got 33% of votes cast which was only 20% of the total electorate. #TwoTierKeir has the ignominy of becoming an unpopular and extremely divisive PM in only 4 weeks.

Check the stats. I'm not the one muddying the water. You've shape shifted over the killer's identity all the way through. What was it, third guess? 🤔

Not in the Islam murder part of this thread at least. I thought I was in Stabbings UK thread. I'm assuming the nationality, the parents place of birth, the religion, ideology and mental health of the ex soldier have been forensically examined in here. Should we rename the thread to Stabbings UK by Muslims or brown people who's parents weren't born here ?

If any further protests go ahead, is anyone planning on attending? Plenty planned apparently including tonight in Liverpool. Here's a peaceful protestor remonstrating with a local in Hartlepool.... x.com/mikecmorgan/status/1818774790066651170

Have a look at the CPS website concerning terrorism. The Terrorism Act 2000 defines terrorism as the use or threat of one or more of the following... and it lists a number of actions as follows...
serious violence against a person; serious damage to property; endangering a person's life (other than that of the person committing the action); creating a serious risk to the health or safety of the public or a section of the public; and action designed to seriously interfere with or seriously to disrupt an electronic system.
It then goes on to say..terrorism offences are distinct from other types of crime in that individuals who commit terrorism-related offences have political, religious racial and/or ideological motivations, unlike typical criminal motivations, which may be personal gain or revenge.
Now I think we can all agree one or more of those actions took place in Southport. What I would like to know is how and why were the Police able to rule the attack out as terrorism linked so quickly. No way would they have been able to raid his house, obtain any mobile phones/computers etc to see if he had been radicalised or what is political motives may have been. (The same applies to the recent stabbing of the Army Officer)

If any further protests go ahead, is anyone planning on attending? There is one at castle park tomorrow at 7pm. If I decided to watch the gas tomorrow I might hang about and see what's happening there after a few beers at the Mem maybe, as I've not got a car or motorcycle at the moment, so I will need to get the bus from town anyway. It would be interesting to see what the numbers are given that Bristol is a very leftist city. No doubt Antifa will be there trying to cause trouble!
