I was walking through Bristol city centre today, lovely day in the sun. While there I saw lots of smiles, people from all walks of life, different races and religions. White, black and mixed race couples, some with children, a lesbian couple and a gay couple, and a trans-sexual. A Rasta pulling a mobile food cart playing music, various other street food vendors selling different styles from around the world. I still went to Greggs though. One shop owner engaging with and helping out a homeless man, Muslims and Christians interacting, one preacher with a microphone singing and promising that Jesus Saves. Real people with real lives getting along. It was a million miles from what we've seen on the telly and social media, and it was refreshing to see in the flesh. I was even given free access to a show. The sad thing is that all the people who are victims of terror attacks were probably having a lovely day until a bomb unexpectedly exploded or some nutter shouting about 'Alans snack bar' started stabbing people. I read an interview with a victim of the 2005 London tube bombings who had lost both legs and they said that they suffered from PTSD because they had made that tube journey so often and never thought of any danger until the bomb exploded and wrecked their life. So congratulations on having a nice walk in idyllic multi cultural Bristol whilst suffering nothing more dangerous than eating something from Greggs but on another occasion it could be totally different as it has been for other innocent victims....this is why I detest bombings against 'soft' targets and i condemn such attacks whoever makes them. Indeed. My wife was on the tube the morning of 7/7.

Is it normal and usual for staff at schools to sign non disclosure agreements? It is often part of a work contract. Further witnesses to events are often requested by police not to make public statements of voice their personal opinions as such matters could be prejudicial to any future court cases. I am sure you wouldn't want this individual released due to a technicality such as evidence being put into the public domain.

It's a list of murders. Meaningless unless this guy is Muslim, which you don't know I never mentioned the Southport murders because it's not a Muslim murderer. That's all you've got,on the actual subject? You thought it was though, and continued in that belief until this post above.

I have to say Cheshire that Aghast has accused me of making racist posts and calling me a 'dangerous nasty racist' etc etc but when I have repeatedly asked him to show us these posts or to admit to lying he hasnt done either,he cant show the posts because i havent made them particularly one where he said that I mentioned Africans... imo he would like to be banned to give himself some credibility with his cronies on gaschat, I looked on there when Bas mentioned a conversation over there and Aghast said something like 'i will soon be banned from gasheads'....so I dont want to see him banned. I do want to see him back up his accusations ! I was looking for some reason where perhaps I might have upset him and the BBC paedo post of mine seemed to offend him, tbf I havent accused him of anything and i wouldnt without evidence as that wouldnt be fair, but I did ask the question...sorry if that upset you and Baldrick. Hi Trymer It was not a personal thing, more a mod decision. It could be interpreted as an insinuation the way it was phrased and as such we have to be careful we do not break the rules of the platform that gasheads.org sits on as well as our own rules. Thanks I understand Cheshire, btw I dont think that I have made racist posts ,certainly not intentionally ,I would expect to be pulled up by the mods if I did, as Aghast cant back up his accusations about my posts i feel the matter is over,he should admit to his lies but thats not going to happen so I wont pursue it further....unless of course he continues with his false allegations....

'The arrest came after officers were called to a report of a domestic incident in Southport today (Wednesday), where it was reported a man had made threats to a family member' 'The suspect was reported to have racially abused a fellow patient while at the hospital, police said. The 39-year-old man from Southport was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, threats to kill and a racially aggravated public order offence' www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/fifth-arrest-after-police-recognise-29653972

I hope that your wife suffered no physical or mental injury from the bombings...be aware though that apparently PTSD can take many years to affect people, some people on the tube when the Kings Cross fire happened suffered from mental health problems which were eventually diagnosed as PTSD..

Respect to you for the respectful response, but I beg to differ. The fact is a black man from an immigrant background slaughtered white children..If this was the other way around the police, government & activists, and some people on here would screaming ‘racial motivation and there would be mass protests and violence on the streets larger than BLM in 2020, and anything that we have seen this week due to it.
It's sickening how the same doesn’t apply to our British children.
You know that is fact,as it would be aided by the left wing socialist's that hate anything right of them, and anything "British" as they class it as being "far right." I don't think anything is going to stop this surge in the British indigenous population (as well as those good immigrants here that respect and love this country) - from rising up. We are one step away from the vigilantes coming out on our streets, and all out civil war. And the person that has increased that as being a real possiblity of happening is the... new default "Prime minister" after his disgusting, evil deplorable speech on the UK natives yesterday. We are on the brink. The law applies to all citizens, whatever their background, nationality, colour, race, religion, etc The law is interpreted based on how it is constructed and written in Parliament or set by precedent. Hence the controversy over the new laws on protest. The first cases are said to be being interpreted too harshly. But that can only be challenged by appeal and ultimately by the Supreme Court making the ultimate judgement. But their judgement is based on the law as written. That is why the Daily Mail called judges 'enemies of the people'. The headline and associated article were about the three judges who had ruled that the UK Government would require the consent of Parliament to give notice of Brexit. The headline was widely criticised as being inappropriately condemnatory and attracted numerous complaints, given that the British judiciary is independent of the Government. The court had ruled on the question of whether the Constitution of the United Kingdom permitted the government to use the royal prerogative to invoke Article 50 (or whether it would need to be authorised by an explicit act of Parliament to do so).

And the person that has increased that as being a real possiblity of happening is the... new default "Prime minister" after his disgusting, evil deplorable speech on the UK natives yesterday. We are on the brink. Did the son of an immigrant kill because he was the son of an immigrant? Was it a causal factor in what he did? Of course not, but as it's being shown daily on social media, that most of knife crimes are being done by people that are of Brown skin/or that of a immigrant appearance in modern day Britain. (Btw, before anyone wants to psychoanalyze,or get on their hind horse about my statement...get a grip as it's the truth - not racist, open your eyes!) Anyway... We can't ignore the fact that this person was from a ethnic minority background, and was imported to this country and the decided to attack us just like all the others had done before him, just like Basel posted in his long line of attacks in his last post. This can't be just a coincidence, can it? I will go with the fact that he is not a Muslim until it's proven otherwise. Yet the facts are yet another person from a migrant background has chosen to attack innocent people in this country for no reason. Its not in our culture, it's in the cultures of the people that we have invited here. Scary thing is, this is only the begining unless we change and deal with it.

Only time having a hangover has been a blessing, having walked to work.

As I said, just wanted to clarify. No need Southport was not on the list. So why raise those historical events in the context of a more general discussion on the terrible event in Southport?

What do you think of the PM saying how he'll defend Islam/Muslims from the 'Far Right',but the stats show us he may have got his priorities the wrong way around?

I find it annoying (to say the least) that Starmer, politicians and the media are making a meal of the violent protests against the murders and not paying so much attention to the childrens murders. Starmer could have drawn a line in the sand after the murders and said 'enough is more than enough we are introducing draconian sentences on anyone carrying a knife and even harsher sentences on anyone using a knife' he didnt because imo he is a weak man and a blusterer.
