At the Quarters.
Set up a couple of speakers and play a recording of us lot singing Goodnight Irene loudly,to accompany a training routine or eg a 5 aside.
A reminder to all involved, you're playing for this lots football club and they love it.
So every ball please. Every single one.

Liverpool recently did this at their training ground,Artetas idea. It lifted the players, the tempo of play increased. An interesting experiment.
Have you ever listened to music while jogging? You may well of found the eg 5km went quicker because you're enjoying the music and not counting every step or half km.
Music and a cheering crowd change things.
Have you ever inadvertently driven faster than you ought because eg the William Tell overture came on the radio? I have.
Goodnight Irene clearly helps the lads, they say so ,they love it.
So eg in an attempt to recreate the noise of a Mem game for the lads ,it might be a worthy experiment and as I pointed out,a reminder to the squad who they play for.

It’s an interesting idea, but I’m not sure the neighbours would appreciate Goodnight Irene being blasted out five times a week.

I'm still to see the Quarters ,I don't know if there are neighbours to annoy, but I'm not talking a stack of Marshall amps here,.🙂

Having not seen any plans pre construction, and anything subsequently it makes no difference,I am asking what is wrong with the place IN YOUR VIEW...Swiss has an agenda and anything that happens at BRFC in his eyes is different to how he would do it,apparently had his chances at Twerton if I have understood previous posts ,let's just stick with the Rovers of today not 30 odd years ago

I have some really important and valid information but i will not post it as i know the majority will give me dogs abuse. I did not say i had any problems with the place, as is but i just gave notice of the place being knocked down, to rebuild to the new plans. Do you think this is a great way of using club funds then ? I have learned my lesson in giving an opinion that is not a popular, even if true, one. As some have right said, in the end you get the club you deserve

Not that long before they knock the place down, to improve it.. what an awful balls up Incorrect as far as I’m aware. They are going to take out a wall to extend the building and effectively square it off. I’ve been told that the long term plan is to build a complex for the first team adjacent to where the gym is currently and the existing quarters will be used for U23s, Youth and womens teams. There is certainly the space to do that. There is a plan to look to put some community facilities in that will also benefit the club for their use too. It’s such a great site that we really can do what we please within financial reason.

I also spoke to someone i will not mention but you do know the plans were amended , right ? In their letter to South Gloucestershire Council justifying the proposal to knock down part of the clubhouse and rebuild it on a bigger scale the Rovers planning consultants Kendall Kingscott wrote: "It is relevant to note that due to the long planning history on the site, the original clubhouse proposal related to the functional needs of Bristol Rugby Club. In our consultations with BRFC it is clear that the needs of the football club are significantly different" This was a case of Rovers leadership jumping in without any forethought and deciding to construct an unsuitable building and then being forced to deal with the consequences. That happened back in 2020 and permission to extend the building was granted in November 2021 but we still don't know when or whether it ever will be done. But we refuse to learn by these mistakes as shown by the recent debacles over season tickets, catering, capacity reductions and stewarding.

What you took and ran with from Swiss was the statement he has just posted above. Nothing about knocking anything down and starting again. Some of our fans honestly…🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ Don’t know what the motivation is to spread such utter BS or believe such utter BS.

Not at all, actually it makes me giggle. It is you who have written about knocking it down and starting again.
Incorrect, it was Jools. "Not that long before they knock the place down, to improve it.. what an awful balls up" "I posted to let people know that the training ground will be knocked down and then amended to the updated plans, my attention was brought to the by Swiss and, unlike you, i find his posts both very interesting" Admittedly I didnt know what you originally wrote, but the ammended plans are basically taking a wall out and squaring the building off from its original T shape. More of an extention than anything else. And taking a wall out and installing an RSJ is hardly a massive job. Perhaps its dramatic Jools being dramatic again...

In other words, reading between what everyone is saying, they are going to amend part of a building and make some improvements. Presumably as stage 2/3/4 of the whole project. Is that it?

If i posted what i know and more and bigger than this training ground, both places would be in meltdown. Not drama but cold, hard truth. If the majority wish to think all is rosy than so be it.
