I admire him for his staunchness. Just can't see it being justified. Would like to think he's right, we all want the same end result. It's just the right way of getting there that we differ on. Hugely.

I know you think he will. But what are you basing that on. I can't get to games these days, can't even listen to commentaries. So all I can go on is press reports and opinions on here. You seem to very distinctly be in a minority who thinks B***** will come good. Is that based on any actual evidence, or just optimism and a desperate hope that things will turn round. Well,in short and I've only been to 2 games, but i reckon we're 4 players short of a decent team. Now of course this is not uncommon at plenty of clubs but what is not common these days,is clubs actually giving Managers a fair crack of the whip regarding time to do the job. I think there's a reasonable chance that if Joe gets this season and the Summer we he can get together a decent team. Is'nt it about time Rovers gave managers more time?

Hugely. To a degree yes. But his views on a number of topics are questionable. Almost never evidence backed.

This guy brings a whole new meaning to "Blind Faith" Don't you Basel? I don't think it "blind faith",but of course there is an element of risk whoever has the job.

If he is sacked today, not a single Joey fan can have any complaint.
I don’t think any manager in the history of football has been given as much time and control and patience as this, both with the awful on field performance record and persistently dragging the clubs reputation through the gutter.

So when does the next transfer window open. And where will we be by then I wonder. "Reasonable chance" isn't exactly confidence inspiring. Depends on the manager whether they should be given more time. Can't say I'm convinced that the reason WaQ is sticking by B***** is down to his record with us so far. Maybe he's had his fingers burnt too many times with sackings and now doesn't know what to do for the best. Stick or twist, stick or twist ...

Would'nt hold your breath on that being great for Rovers as it's usually uneventful for us. It might take another Summer, then bearing in mind one or two of our loaned out players might get selected. I think WAQ going for the long haul with Joe. "Reasonable chance",there are no guarantees.Wrong business for guarantees.

Definitely not holding my breath. Honestly can't stand the idea of B***** being with us that long. I envy you your optimism.

He’s a destroyer, not a builder. Like Mourinho, and that’s where the similarity ends. He might, at best, rid the club of deadwood like Tommy and shake out some of the mediocrity, but that’s being generous. Mourninho has a two year lifespan at a club then he even falls out with himself.

Joey similarly asks when everyone else will realise they’re wrong and he’s always right
