Would have liked a Monserrat international to have represented Rovers.
I see Terry Connor is now manager of the Grenada National Team. Jason Roberts is now Chief Development Officer for for CONCACAF

A planning officer said that as they’d already granted permission for a much larger development, they couldn’t really turn this one down (or words to that effect). To me this indicates that Rovers were made aware of this and took the chance to start building early on in the season. Looking Goodddddddddddddddnowwwwwwwwww How much is it costing and why couldn't Rovers build this stand years ago? I suspect it costs somewhere in the region of 3 Scott Jones, 2 Justin Richards, 1 Tom Nicholls and a Santa's Grotto.

It’ll be unfair to mangan not to offer him the job after a certain length of time. Or to only offer him the job on the basis that they couldn’t find someone else.
Does anyone know the extent of his coaching qualifications?

Neil Lennon now suddenly in the picture at 6-1. Not sure about that one. He had some success at Celtic but with the resources they have who wouldn't? I think Matty Taylor would be a good fit. Neil Lennon doesn't have the character for a Head Coach position. Not really succeeded in past. Is prone to meltdowns. Definitely a 'No'.

I'd like to see Tony Pulis come in whilst we retain the back room staff. He has leadership qualities, has a long history in the game, ticks the 'one of us' box and is not with any other team.

With B***** gone, who else is likely to follow? We have a few FIFO players and club staff apparently.

I think the new owners will want someone with a more professional, refined approach. The issues associated with B***** overtook some jog his positive traits - confidence, recruitment, certain benchmarking.
Our new manager will be based on what the club will offer - if we have a budget and a believable plan then I think we’ll be happy with the new appointment.

Sickening listening. Some of the language used is completely unprofessional and as already mentioned, outright bullying. Even if B***** had the gonads to apologise (which he won't) it wouldn't be enough, the damage is done. I really hope the new owners make a stand on this. (Which they won't) Makes you wonder what the wider dressing room feels about this. B***** is in a position of power. He’s abusing that power by bullying. I don’t think any new owner with integrity would feel comfortable by B*****’s behaviour. Get rid.

B***** is such a hypocrite. This is a guy who, when a player, let down his teammates all throughout his career.
I wonder if he’s man enough to admit he went too far in that interview?

£800k seems good value when compared to the combined £800k spent on Tom Nicholls, Bernard Mensah, Stephan Payne and Martin Cameron. And how much on Josh Barrel? Exactly. B***** has to avoid failing spectacularly now. His man management skills will be under scrutiny. Let’s hope Andy Mangan can teach JCH a thing or two about forward play

I think its great when ex-prem strikers continue to prolong their careers down the leaguees as they get older and slower. I think Deener will struggle if hes lost his pace whereas a Wally Walters or Darren Anderton figure had technique that trumped their loss of pace.
Of course one Sir Barrington Hayles is the best example of a player continuing to play just for his love of the game.
Barry is the true king.

Belshaw not on bench and no Wilson!!! I think this will be a goal fest. Our dodgy defence plus our attacking philosophy - over 2.5 is just short of evens. Luke Thomas will be up for this match.

Looking forward to seeing the line up given how strong our Henry was on Saturday

The bench at Portsmouth was strong for Rovers. Our success will be in our squad depth.
Really interested to see the line up tomorrow night, lots of completion for place.
I think 12th is a minimum.
We have goals in this squad but I still think we need 4 players including a star man to give the necessary depth for a promotion challenge.
But I know nothing really!!

What a shame and disgrace that we (as Rovers Fans) (and the club allow) the need to pay money to JB to find out this kind of news in advance, it’s wrong. Couldn't agree more TG. It must have been agreed by the powers that be at the club so shame on them too. That said, I get 95% of my Rovers news from this forum and other social media sources so B***** can stick his subscription based service where the sun don't shine...charity or not. B*****, a man of the people….
