Our promising performance at Portsmouth last week has set high expectations for me.
Another draw against a fellow promotion contender would likely meet those expectations.
I don't see us keeping a clean sheet, so I'm predicting an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Yes Jeff, A draw would be a great result, I’m going for 1-1, but any draw would be most welcome!. Heart = Draw Head = 3-0 to Barnsley, who, by the way, with ageing eyesight, have a badge that is most similar in shape and colour to a more recent team from 1982.

It's 21 years since we won our opening Saturday match of the season Torquay United with a late Steve Foster winner on the return of Gerry Francis in his second spell ..who remembers the fireworks to mark his return?

Here we are again. Faces full of enthusiasm and optimism for the new season. What could possibly go wrong?
Barnsley are a great test to where we need to be near to compete for something about success this year..
I'll plump for a fighting battling draw in the rainy mem. 1-1.
The irony of a brighter outlook on a day when it's rainy without Bright!? Only at Rovers ..

Belshaw not on bench and no Wilson!!! I think this will be a goal fest. Our dodgy defence plus our attacking philosophy - over 2.5 is just short of evens. Luke Thomas will be up for this match.

Barnsley looking a lot more up for it.
We appear very lethargic.

18 mins in, 55% / 45% in the Yorkshiremen’s favour, 4 shots to nil for them also , are we the home team today ?

HT 0-1
We've had our chances but overall I'm disappointed with our performance.
At times we can't make a simple pass and give the ball away far too often.
Hoping for better in the 2nd half.

I think we played well.
Impressed by Crema and Evans looks back to his best. Finley has been terrible, that and a goal that no one stops. Marquis and Collins missing chances I would be gutted to have missed.
Well in this.

Oh ... Collins doesn't look confident to me. Pressure maybe.

Sounds like Belly may have thrown his toys out the cot again.
Apparently it's a matter "between him and the manager". Make of that what you will.
