We have played Peterborough United 48 times, W15, D16, L17..Biggest win 4-0, Biggest loss 5-2, 5-4... Peterborough were founded in 1934, are known as the Posh and play at the London Road Stadium, which has a capacity of 13,511.. Manager Darren Ferguson is 51 & is in his 4th stint at the helm, he played for Man.Utd, Wolves, Wrexham & Scotland U21. Cambridge United are considered to be the club's main rival. The Cambridge rivalry, known as the Cambridgeshire derby, has been fought very evenly over the years Peterborough winning 17 and Cambridge 15 Northampton Town are the club's traditional rival, dating back to when both sides were lower league, and as the city of Peterborough is historically part of Northamptonshire. Other rivals are MK Dons, Huddersfield and Lincoln. Of course there will be all eyes on Jonson Clarke-Harris who played 49 games for BRFC scoring 27 goals... Longest serving managers have been George Swindin, Jimmy Hagen, Noel Cantwell, Barry Fry and Darren Ferguson who has managed in over 550 games. Brentford paid £10m for former favourite Ivan Toney and paid Bcfc82ltd £1.25m for Mohamed Eisa... With 2 consecutive wins there is a good chance of a point or 3 to be had, just keep JCH quiet.. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d4/Peterborough_United.svg/180px-Peterborough_United.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/4/47/Bristol_Rovers_F.C._logo.svg/200px-Bristol_Rovers_F.C._logo.svg.png

Amazing what back-to-back wins does for supporters and (hopefully) the players confidence
While wins alone will do that, I think it was the nature of our performance against Wigan last week that's given me a belief we can go on a bit of a run. That is assuming we replicate and continue what was a complete team performance.
Peterborough is usually a tough place to visit so a draw would be very welcome but serve up the same performance as last week and I think we can win it.
I'll go with an entertaining 1-3 to Rovers with you-know-who getting a late consolation for Posh.

Can only see a Jch goal and a 2 mil defeat.
Hope I am wrong on both counts.
A 10 min cameo for Chris Martin probably
Fingers crossed we can score first and our better solid defence holds out

How much is POTD at Posh? Not that I'm going - it was an eye-watering £28 pre-covid... Also my least favourite owner in Darrah MacAnthony.

I read the other day that they no longer allow radio Cambridge to do live commentary on their matches and are going down the pay £5 route. I hope we never come to that, however poor some of us consider radio Bristol.

I have been shelling out £2.50 for the 'privilege' of listening to Radio Bristol's match day commentaries, ever since the iFollow Mafia saw an easy score. It's scandalous that a multi billion pound/dollar sport is still living in the dark ages of football media coverage when it comes to online services. The £159 BBC tax we pay each year is flawed. I have to give £2.50 of my State Pension most weeks, to a rival broadcaster. I'm livid I tell you. Livid! I'm livid in a black cloud of anger. Arrrrr!! #UpTheROVERS

A point away is a good result and I will be happy with a point today....even happier with 3 of course.

Goal disallowed by Collins.
Cox caught in possession nearly gifted them a goal

Against the run of play, lucky deflection from a free kick that never should have been 0-1.
We're playing well so we can still do this.

Odd game so far.
We seemed to have it under control and while not creating many opportunities in front of goal, Peterborough never looked threatening.
Then the goal which lifted them and caused us to get a little nervy.
I feel like a point if not all three is still achievable.... if we can just create a few clear cut chances.
All to play for.

Worst possible start... 90 secs into second half.
Poor defending the one area I thought we have recently improved on.
Going to be a big ask from here

We could win this if we get a goal soon.
