Even when he's not having the best of games he will always give the opposition defence plenty to deal with which may create opportunties for others to get a strike in on goal. Big fan of his and Stuart Sinclair. Sinclair is the type of player that if he played against us we would be saying thats the type of player we need. I am amazed no league club snapped them up before and that this is their first season in the football league. If we'd drawn against Mansfield and stayed up would we have signed either player? It certainly shows that Stuart's background is a fitness instructor as he never stops and seems as fit at the end of a game as he did at kick off.

Nothing cheesey about it imo. Just a demonstration of solidarity. If that is cheesey than so must be the French flag being beamed onto the Wembley arch and National Gallery etc. Well done Nick I say nonsense, its just being sycophants Why so matter of fact? You are merely expressing an opinion as am I and this doesn't mean either view is right or wrong.

For the first time in a long time. We didn't buy much tho, and it wasn't my choice how effectively are you avoiding them, or not? Haven't set foot in a Shameburys in over a year. They can well and truly f**k off and they will never get a penny of my money ever again.

Wycombe fear Chesham United. FACT. Thank you, Bristol Rovers. I realise you're probably all a bit deflated right now, and understandably so, but this has been a historic day for our club. All the best to you! All the very best to Chesham too. Hope you get the tie you want in round 2 and heres hoping a massive side in round 3.

Get it there Chesham ! maybe you could try and take them to court I am sure you may have found something they did wrong Gas ? Having fu**ed all over you Chairboys (probably the worst nickname in world football) a few weeks back, we now face Southend in the next round of the JPT. Do you have any tips for us in case we go to penalties?

I watched Bath City v Chelmsford (2-0 to Bath with Kaid Mohammed scoring second) yesterday. In goal was our own, Flapper. I have fond memories of him. Glad to see he's still involved. Made two important stops first 20mins (one was 1on1) and a few blocks in second half. A good steady performance. Would anyone be thinking what I'm thinking? (probably not!) Depends...if you're thinking about having a bacon & egg sandwich and a coffee then yes I am

Cheating scum Wycombe beat us in the cup 2-1 in 1993...this was before they became cheating scum Wycombe Chairboys were a FL club back then ...1993 was their first season in League under Martin O'Neill when they beat us I stand corrected. Memory from past years clearly not as good as I thought. I do, however, stand by my cheating scum comment though.

Our home form no doubt had some influence on this, I reckon. Never lost at home to a non league Club in Rovers history ...1920 to 2015
Played 27 Won 23 Drew 4 Lost 0 goals scored 78 and 16 conceded.
Four draws were Llanelly 1950, Kettering 1969, Runcorn 2002 and Carlisle 2004
Long may this record continue

Seem to recall seeing Dwayne Plummer playing for Chesham a few years before he signed for us. Wasted talent imo but thats another story

Following on from previous post... I'm a fully paid up member of the Matt Taylor fan club...could even be the president of the fan club. Top player and when he doesn't play I always think we miss him. Problem for some on here is they have backed themselves into a corner with their views on Matt Taylor and Darrell Clarke for that matter and they will find it hard to backtrack on their very opiniated views and admit they got it hopelessy wrong.

He got us to 91st in the football league so not really more sucessful. Awful manager who signed his mates on expensive contracts.

Only 4 players scored more league goals last season than Matt Taylor, all of whom have played plenty of games in the football league. Lots of factors contributed to our promotion but imo without Matt Taylor we wouldn't have made the play offs. Every team needs to score goals of course but even when things arent going well you need to carry a goal threat and Matt provided constantly provided that last season. Clever footballer imo and I'm glad he's in our team.

IMO the best Stuart Sinclair has played for us (from the games I have seen anyway) And to think some on here only a few weeks ago were picking out our 'non league' players. Matt Taylor again showing just how good a footballer he is...another 'non league' player according to some. Taylor is non-League standard. Forget last night, Wycombe were at 3/4 throttle, they are focused on one thing only. In League games he has looked like a boy playing against men, what is it now, 3 goals in a quarter of a season in proper matches, and one of those was a tap in that he somehow missed but the keeper decided to knock up into the air for him to head in. He has a long way to go to prove that he is ready to step up. Hope he proves me wrong. Save this post and please taunt me with it when be buries his 30th goal of the season. Clearly he wont get 30 goals this season but if you consider him to be "non league standard" then I am watching different games to you. Very clever footballer for me and could play in league 1 imo

Not a quandary for me. Nicholls is the best keeper at the club.
