Do you get any e-mails from Bristol City football club? I never had any. But email wasn't really a thing before 1982.

I got the email too and thought it was a good offer. What is the actual problem? Lack of professionalism, apparent inability to merge email systems. It's not difficult to do. Either we want to promote the offer or we don't. I get offers from every single PL and ex-PL club that I've ever bought tickets from. Why? Because they are professionally run, that's what I want for my club, for them to do things in the best possible way. I also get offers from venues all over the country, Royal Albert Hall, O2, Manchester Arena, loads of them, even ones that I've only ever been to once. I guess I'm just frustrated because I read Tom's on line profile and he isn't exactly modest, then the club talked him up when they unveiled him, sorry but I expected a lot more. Mr Bamber Have you contacted the club to discover why you did not get a mail?

What do you want me to do, go there and send the email to myself after stumbling across a news feature, hidden in old stories, about a promotion for an event that hasn't happened yet? The whole thing is a mess and needs someone with a brain to sort it out.

Retaining our third tier status is a lot more important than highlighting the deficiencies of our Commercial Department. However Bamber has a relevant point. I have asked Tom G directly about not receiving e-mail correspondence from BRFC, and I forwarded him the great quality and quantity of promotions I receive regularly from Leyton Orient (5th tier). He said it would be fixed. I do get some correspondence. But I didn't get anything about a promotion for the Blackpool game. As a direct result I have not been incentivised to make the 300 mile round trip for Saturday's game. We can do better. It's not moaning for the sake of moaning - it's trying to help make our Club more professional.

And I have told them again today. The irony is not lost on me. ie Sending multiple e-mails to my Football Club about the lack of e-mails from my Football Club. Hey ho.

They read these forums, it's been talked about many times over a long period. That's a starting point. Following that, if the systems were fit for purpose they would know which lines of communication were yielding successful customer interaction.

While we still don't have a big screen TV yet.... it's on its way (apparently), would any of the TG criticisers (is that a word?!) like to comment on the new LED advertising system that he helped negotiate for the rest of the season? By the way, at no cost to the club. By the way, the advertising boards it covered up were put on the system at no extra cost, which by the way included Bristol Energy advert that if you're a brand new customer, on joining them you get a discount as you're a GasHead......that was negotiated by the fairy godmother, obviously!? The initial news brought into the Blackpool match day thread by Concept. Read more: gasheads.org/thread/8087/blackpool-match-day-thread#ixzz5h6WVFFkzJust wondering if anyone wanted to comment if they think it's made our club look more or less professional at minimum cost is a good or bad thing? Yep I take the point it's his job bla bla bla, what he's paid to do bla bla bla, but none of these things happened under the Holtby watch, or any time before, yet there seems to be more scrutiny now. Well fine, scrutinise these recent developments... ......but hey TG messed up with a TV so I guess that's all that matters?

It's not even a debate. He may well add your name to a database now, but it's after the event. We are talking about a marketing and communication device that's at least 10 years out of date now, it's basic entry level stuff, if this isn't being done properly after the length of time he's been here then he needs replacing.

Is football Index betting and a rival to Sky Bet? One could easily argue either way. So did Sky lean on us afterwards saying no, you have broke the more than 1 betting advert?

Personally I dislike the screens, they often take your eye away from the game especially as they are now designed with walking dogs, moving vehicles, vivid colours or flashing images. If progress or a sign of professionalism is having a couple of second-hand screens in corners of a pitch then so be it, but there are so many other areas needing attention.

Yep, every club has to carry Sky Bet branding to play in the FL. Personally I’d ban all betting sponsorship in football, it ruins a lot of lives.
