Ok, Bodin goes. So did 🐍. So might some more.
But when was the last time we had manager whom brought players on, or through youth, or here for free and through development, gave them a much inflated value?
Isn't it what Rovers historically have been good at?
There has to be great credit given to management team and the coaching staff for their hard work so far..

Ye, it certainly done us well over the years. If you can think of a club with our supporter base that hasn't been in the top flight, let me know about it. Same old, same old.

.....and to make money you need something to sell. Which then becomes an investable commodity.
It's been our way for years.
This year is no different.
And it's easy to lose that focus when we are concentrating on how down we are about BillyGate..

Always was always will be Rovers were a Second division ( Championship ) when they sold Paul Randall, if anyone else would have got a fee they would have been sold too. I am not trying to stick up for this board but Rovers have always been a selling club, what matters is bringing in decent replacements like Steve White for Randall (although I wasn't saying that back then). Going to be some very disheartened supporters today especially younger ones, not good to see your favourite player leave, seems to becoming a seasonal tradition to virtually give the top scorer away.

Sorry fella, but when I started following the club the policy was 'NO BUY - NO SELL'

Then they sold Alfie Biggs and a fair few others, in and out, after the policy was dropped.

They've both gone for pittances!

And it's been all downhill ever since. Well perhaps you didn't live through the 'Smash and Grab' years. Has often been pretty dire since Don Megson however.

My Dad was always of the opinion that when Geoff Bradford was injured as we were close to the top of the old 2nd, that we should have broken the No Buy No Sell at that point and signed John Charles, who was appparently available.

My Dad never forgave Rovers for not buying a replacement for Geoff Bradford that season.
I should have listened....
