That's a fair enough opinion (even though today it appeared to be over exuberance as opposed to malicious) but to save yourself from hypocrisy, you must equally condemn the thousands that were on the pitch post Daggers? Nope, no hypocrisy here, stay off the pitch means stay off the pitch, same for Wembley and BS7. I said on here just a couple of days ago that I would be more than comfortable with the idiot exhibitionists who ran on when Browner scored being banned for life. As far as I'm aware, even 1982 haven't ever invaded the Wembley pitch or moved to the wrong part of the stadium to taunt the opposition management and players. As for excusing it as 'high spirits', sorry but that's exactly the sort of attitude that has saddled us with that group of 50+ year old meat heads who get drunk and cause trouble at away grounds. This is supposed to be entertainment, not a mass brawl where you accept the likelihood of getting involved in a fist fight. Let Leeds, Millwall, Swindon, 1982, both south Wales clubs, Chelsea, West Ham, Liverpool, Birmingham, Villa, Portsmouth form their own League where they can play on an eight sided caged pitch with everybody inside of it, last person standing wins. I don't know exactly what you mean. First of all, one or two (ish) invaded the pitch on the actual goal that Browner scored. Second of all, there was a mass pitch invasion at final whistle. Which ones are the idiot exhibitionists in your eyes? Third of all, (in my opinion) first and second regarding us, coupled with Millwall invasion yesterday was a high spirit reaction. There were couples and females on the pitch in elation, mass celebration. I understand everyone may not have conveyed their enthusiasm with appropriate dignity and etiquette, but I think it's unfair to lump in the Tote End boot boys and assume its all the same. A narrow vision post, imo.

At the Ricoh one of the Ray Winstone look-alike brigade -well into their 50's- stood somewhat inebriated in the gangway and was asked politely by a lady steward to take his seat.He began ranting just as the teams were about to k.o. that if he couldn't stand where he wanted he'd take the steward to the European Court of Human Right. Two minutes later the boys in blue escorted him to a seat away from the other Ray Winstones. Total embarrassment these Guys who came in to the Walsall,Port Vale and Shrewsbury games at 5 to 3 totally pissed with no interest in the match with no respect for the other genuine fans including ladies and kids. And i bet he voted for BREXIT

I doubt he voted - like around 28% of the potential voters - many people couldn't give a 2p toss!

Blackpool fans are extending their boycott of home games to their Play -Off final to-moz.Their protest supporter's Trust,'Not a Penny more', is sticking to its principles and only 5000 are likely to make the journey to Wembley.

I really hope Exeter win tomorrow.
With our luck in luck of away fixtures, I know how far I would rather travel on a cold, wet Tuesday night..

So I'm in total solidarity with the Blackpool fans, the absolute majority of their support, on this. So it's Exeter for me.

I'd still rather go to Blackpool than Exeter, but as there's no chance of me going to either next season, I can't pretend I really care who wins.

Great we've got another boycott on the horizon to add to Sainsburys, Swindon, EFL Trophy...

It begs the question, why put what you did if you have no intention of going to either? I'd prefer an away trip to Blackpool over a trip to Exeter generally. However, in the context of the playoff final, I couldn't care less as my personal circumstances dictate I won't be going to (m)any away games any time soon.

Blackpool promoted!
Can we hope for an away fixture near end of season? Or Easter time??
What's the betting it'll be mid Feb, midweek?!

Hudderfsield win on pens.Their ground has the curved stands like Bolton but is more than up to Prem' standard.
