The crowd at Bradford, for the play-off semi Final first leg against Fleetwood, was 15,696.
That's Bradford's lowest home League crowd of the season!
For comparison, the ordinary League game against Fleetwood, on Tuesday 27th Sept, drew a crowd of 16,759.
Even allowing for Bradford's famously generous season-ticket tariffs, and the fact that the game was live on TV, I'd have thought that a play-off semi-final would have generated enough excitement to persuade above-average numbers to buy a ticket for the match? Clearly not.
Millwall, on the other hand, had an attendance of 12,568 for their play-off semi Final at the Den, against Scunthorpe. Only one home League game (Charlton, 14,395 on 21st December) exceeded this figure. The crowd for Millwall's FA Cup 5th round tie against Leicester, though, was 18,012.

Interesting stuff GM.Fleetwood have the Div one's lowest average attendance at 2974. The only one below 3000.we often take more than that away.

Presumably Bradford's average 'attendance' counts absent ticket holders and not how many people are in the ground, whereas there would be very few if any absent ticket holders for the playoff?

Leave Dianne alone, the good folk of Hackney North and Stoke Newington love her, and when Jeremy sweeps to power in 5 weeks time she'll be home secretary. Not sure how many Police she'll be able to recruit at a salary of £30 PA though

The stingey gits ain't prepared to stump up when it's live on tv. You're seeing more of a true reflection.

Accrington beat Stevenage 3-0 to stop them getting into play-offs. A bit of pay back for the last day last year. Thank god that result was this year!

Not the play offs really, but Matty Harrold is an unbeaten manager, having taking the reins at Creepy and holding Mansfield to a draw on the last day of the season, shame he couldn't do it as a player!

Dear Kegan. What were the median attendances of the highest attended clubs finishing between ninth and twelfth in the third division this season, last season, and the season before last? More importantly, what is your opinion regarding these figures? I'm getting deggy with it here. Yours sincerely, S. H. Oveller
