Ok, couldn't let that go. As far as I know, the plan is to have 2 routes from the Lyde Green P&R to the city centre, the X92 and X93, each running every 20 minutes. No change required. The X93 will be a through route to Hengrove. I does seem to change quite a bit though.
But neither of those services are the Metrobus, which will require a change? What makes you think they are not the Metrobus? All the plans I can find states that they are metrobus routes. In fact, the latest I can find is that the X92 has been deleted, the X93 will still run from Lyde Green to the centre, and the X91 will no longer go to town, but will link Lyde Green directly with Parkway station.

It was a question! It looks like they are metrobus routes, and I withdraw my previous comments

As regards Lyde Green, I'm not sure there would be any room once all the houses have been built. I saw something in the Post a while back about trying to save the ancient Lyde Green Common, so that sort of points to the other land around there already earmarked. I can't find the article from the Post; only came across this on a search: www.southgloucestershireconservatives.com/news/saving-lyde-green-common-developmentHere's the plan
There's areas earmarked for employment which haven't been built on yet, and plans can be changed - for instance, the area that the park and ride is being built on was earmarked for high density residential.
The only areas that have actually had any development done on them are the science park, and the area marked high density residential on the plan. About half of the site.
In addition, just south of the main development there's an area of land reserved for leisure use. David Lloyd have permission for a large leisure centre complex there, but they have put it up for sale.
Thanks for the link. It looks an interesting plan for mixed use. Good to see the watercourses and lakes left unculverted. Are you able to point out the exact area you are thinking of? For instance, is it the lower green/brown shaded section within "Potential lower density residential' on the map on p.25 ? (pdf page 28/103). Not sure that's any bigger or better than the UWE plot.

A couple of sites - the brown bit you mention (half should be sufficient), or the purple 'proposed employment' section next to the M4.
Also, there's a site off the map, just the other side of the green bit marked SNCI, which a David Lloyds owns and wishes to sell, and has been earmarked for leisure use.
Its deceptive, but the site is way bigger than UWE. For scale, the purple bit marked 'Science Park employment' is approx. 24 hectares, the whole development area is 177 hectares. The UWE stadium site is 9.3 hectares.
