Can anybody answer the question : We do the supporters club post there info on the other forum and not this ?.... I do wonder about this. Nearly all posters on here are Rovers supporters of long standing and a fair number are (probably) supporters club members. I guess it is more to do with perception and legacy. Somehow gaschat is perceived to be more closely aligned with the mainstream/supporters club/ board view. Yet there is plenty of evidence of dissent on there and "compliance" on here. The circumstances of the birth and eventual closure of the previous Alternative forum were surrounded in acrimony between supporters and club/board. At the same time, this is the INDEPENDENT fans' forum - i.e. independent from club and the official supporters club. Personally, if I want to find supporters club information, I'll go on their website. BTW, Kleindeutschland is a neighbourhood on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

this forum has a hardcore of bitter negative posters who only post when were losing or they can hammer the board over the new ground stuff, like the one called bamber something and others, the other forum is more balanced and has lots more fans on it imo the good news is we will have a bad run at some point and the appeal is coming up soon so then they can post again There may be negative posters on here as there are on other forums but at least on here we can put our slippers on, light up the pipe, have a mug of horlicks and have a proper debate without being 'invited' to f*** off to Ashton Gate.....and it wouldn't be mis-spelt either . The majority of those who express negative views are more often than not anti mismanagement, not anti board, there's a big difference. Now where's me slippers and baccy pouch Have you a web cam on me!! UTG!

Can anybody answer the question : We do the supporters club post there info on the other forum and not this ? You'd have to ask them - they're welcome to post information on here if they want, and although BSS did agree to post here at one point, he never bothered in the end.

I prefer a forum that generally has posters using correct grammar. For example - using capital letters and punctuation where appropriate. So I use this one.

Having read and posted on both forums I sense Gaschat in recent times as become more middle of the road where this forum still as an anti Higgs feel to it, although by and large this one has more "adult" feel to the threads Gashchat does seem to have moved away from the childish banter which you to tuin most threads, plus it seems to be attracting, if that's the correct term, more of the newcomers to the forums. In an ideal world both forums would join together as it would make it a damn sight easier than checking two forums daily for the latest news/gossip/rumours! You really don't need to 'check' both though. If actual things actually happen, I'm sure it hits both forums pretty much simultaneously. This forum has similar threads but they don't degenerate into pages of personal abuse and have people use it to let loose their alter ego & that's being kind. I don't want to be drawn into a slanging match but it just got too silly for me and so I banned myself. I don't see any reason why having two forums is a bad thing. I was welcomed and accepted here, by most but the mods here will act much sooner and won't tolerate the bulk of what the other one does. I get along very well with Hugo and many on gaschat but I much prefer here and I hope that I've learned a thing or two while here.

"...I prefer a forum that generally has posters using correct grammar. For example - using capital letters and punctuation where appropriate..." As in Eppinggas. Most common grammatical error is the misspelling of MorecAmbe which more often than not is spelt MorecOmbe on both forums.( or should it be spelled.....)
