Why is there nothing on the official site about Jo? I think it's appalling that there is no article thanking her for stepping up in a time of crisis. No physio = no game? I guess our finance director hasn't worked out that no game = no cash. Or is it that in thanking her they'd have to explain why they're in this position in the first place. Poor show, either way. (Don't know if Vaughan's post about her talk with Montana should be taken with a pinch of salt or not, but I do know the commentary team thought he was totally crocked with a knee injury and couldn't believe it when he came back on the pitch so whatever she did, or said, seems to have worked something of a miracle.) Perhaps the club should post an article on everyone who helps out the club, whether paid or doing it for free. Though I think you mean they should only do an article on people you have heard of and over who a great fuss has been made. Well done for helping Jo, I think the best compliment to you was that no-one was commentating on your entrance to the game on Tuesday in the West enclosure. People will argue about sexism in the game but who drives the sexism? Can anyone name the bloke at Chelsea who José wants to ban? But God forbid José (who is a class a tosser) when he bans a woman. Sorry we can't do that - too busy giving publicity to Twatola - because he deserves it!!! ?

No, not on everyone. But it's a pretty key role don't you think? Then again, that's probably the issue. They'd sooner hope no-one noticed the latest cock up. Now the chap who was trying to set some world record or other - that's far more interesting ... well worth an article. Can't say I read it myself, but I'm sure many were fascinated.

Sounds very sexist to me angas, what a poor attitude you have in the 21st century. But that's what we have to live with now women desperate to reinforce sexist attitudes, people from ethnic minorities desperate to reinforce racist attitudes. But hey ho let's all be (black) sheep and follow the flock. But more importantly tell me about this world record attempt? I never read the club website

No but technically she is a member of the football staff. As and when we appoint a full time Physio I am sure they will be mentioned on the website as the last guy was.
Don't think it would be hard to have said Jo is joining us on a match by match basis until a full-time physio is appointed.
at the least I should hope Jo gets a public thank you on the website when the time comes that she is no longer required

No wolf whistling where I was which surprises me as some on here have been trying to make out it was a deafening crescendo that accompanied her appearance. Still was it the wolf whistles that have done for the bloke at Chelsea?

If you read the Chelsea story Carneiro has actually been sidelined for speaking out on social media against Mourinho, Jon Fern didn't. There were wolf whistles, it was embarrassing.

I think you will find the reason no publicity for her temp appointment is because it highlights the problem the Club had by initially recruiting someone who was not suitable and left sharpish...I have spoken to Joanna and she was upset at treatment by some, shall we say "moronic" members of our crowd..as she says herself had a qualified physio not stepped into the breach the Club would have had to postpone the matches and receive league fines for being unable to fulfil the fixture and Northampton Town would have claimed costs.

As I said, I'm quite happy to front up with morons and have done. However, on Tuesday there were more than a few people doing it and no one in my vicinity.
Best wishes.

So why has Jon Fearn been bumped off the bench as well? I hope that Joanna gets good support from the Gasheads at Yeovil, so that anything unsavoury which may emit from our country cousins will be drowned out.

At least its consistent You always dislike opinions that aren't your 'facts'. Did you object to the wolf whistles on Tuesday (of course no need to confront anyone over it), from what people are saying you should've been able to hear them in the Home Counties. Whether anyone stands up for Jo's dignity on Saturday or not (OK the thread has proved it'll be not) I'm sure she'll do a fantastic job. It's actually good to see football catch up with the real world and use female physios, rugby managed it long ago. Perhaps that is why so many people were shocked by Jo's appearance on the pitch.

So any comments about BRFC employees are now going to be edited... Matty Taylor will be pleased with that!

I wasnt there Tuesday, and most definitely would not have confronted anyone over doing it Funnily I was at game recently (league) where I over heard the following. moronic male: "Did you know that club has a female physio? She is cute, I would go every week if she was here (I presumed he had little experience of live females and suffered from small man syndrome) Moronic Female, stood next to him. "What did you say? I looking at the players bums" Funny thing also is that tend to agree with you, the perpetual calling out of racism and sexism devalues the issue. I would totally agree with you if racism and sexism was not sadly so very apparent. Sadly professional sport, and especially football has a long way to go
