Surely the family club would disappear has soon as the UWE is built anyway? Do you really believe us to still be a family club ? Since NH came in we have been ruled by a paranoid man who disengaged from us and rules as a . He has told us as much by his saying without me there would be no Rovers. GD was much the same only a less brusque nature. We have lost direction years ago and have been ripped apart. The fans are the only constant and that would not change. With the right leadership/funds, we have a great potential but our board have never used any merchandising or shown any nous in dealing with people. We stopped being the family club years ago IMO. We are on the brink of admin yet still many actively choose to still back a man who has been so negligent and bullish that it's beyond any words I have. Exactly we as fans have been treated badly and kept in the dark for years, how is NH and the current set up so much better than new investors? New investors will probably have more money for a start and hopefully better ideas when it comes to running a club that potentially is one of the highest earning in our league (based on gates etc) also they will hopefully be better when it comes to the other commercial aspects e.g. merchandise, maybe better ticket prices and offers that actually reward fans etc. I never really feel part of any "family" at games, and on here the board blind faith brigade are always quick to put anyone in their place who questions anything hardly brotherly.

Undisclosed fee apparently, to compensate the selling club for the outstanding 12 months on the players contract with them. Joined on a free transfer Do you have a link to that info KP? All of the reports yesterday stated "undisclosed, '' but it may have changed of course.

I think its fatuous to describe anyone, any financial organisation, intending to put money into a football club as an "investor". How many shareholders in pro clubs are receiving a return on their capital? No, what a hedge fund smells is leverage. To be able to take a new build stadium, convert to multi use and sale on to an experienced operating company who will relish access over the guaranteed lease period (its a hundred years isnt it) Rovers would be just one of the tenants in this scenario, the dream of incremental revenues to the club just a pipe dream. Albeit they are already.

Albeit they are already. Would you like to expand on 'multi-use' which seems to be the new buzzword? Does that mean rugby, which has always been planned for, or concerts, that have always been planned for, or something else? Leverage on developing football stadiums usually means developing the surrounding land for multiple uses, as for an example the Ricoh arena in Coventry. But how much land will be in our lease with the UWE I'm guessing enough for the stadium and car park. Any chances to current plans will have to be agreed with the leaseholder who definitely want a car park there. So to use us as a leverage I'm guessing the hedgefund would need to get more land from UWE or another landowner. The other option for a hedgefund is to develop the business and sell at a huge profit, which is mostly what they do. So what is the cheapest way to leverage a profit from the huge new TV deals, um maybe buy cheap get to Championship and sell big?

Albeit they are already. This is more applicable to private equity firms. Hedge fund managers usually invest a lot of their own money and they look longer term. They often invest in startups. Not sure how this would fit into the Rovers model however and you need only look to Coventry City for a bad example of a hedge fund owner, albeit one that specialised in distressed debt

What makes you say that? Especially on here of all places!! People can see exactly what is going on within box 1 but choose to not chop their noses off to spite their faces so to speak. ie..Support the 11 players in Rovers shirts on a Saturday to help keep their club alive. Not stay away and state the obvious every five minutes. Like sooo many on here

Nick's record speaks for itself, but we are talking about a football club, so the use of words such as '' isn't really justified.
I doubt very much that the FC will be put into administration any time soon.

If NH wins the Sainsbury's case will anybody real complain that he ran up debts of around £5m to win the club £30m?

2. Who will own UWE?
