Not sure dragging a sad thread to the top (which I just have) is really ideal behaviour either. You do know that the team thatvwe support and you claim to follow got promoted today? UTFG đ´ââ ď¸â˝ď¸đ damn right they did and barton came good for us in the end whatever his politics hes a gas legend now because footballs all that matters Say that when you canât pay your bills.

Which sweeps the subjects covered under the carpet IMO Not really NAPAB, just allowing people to enjoy the moment. Anchor will be removed after a couple of days. DAMN IT!

In that case - maybe for the last time - I shall post his stats as our manager as they now stand: P72 W29 D14 L29 F99 A90 W%40.3 And league matches only: P64 W26 D13 L25 F84 A73 Pts91 Pts per Game1.42 At least he has got us back to where we were like he said he would. Let's see what happens next. those are pretty decent stats. But stats donât tell the whole or true story, you needed to experience just how irrepressible the team form was throughout the fixtures in March and April, and these last couple of games creating and scoring at will just when it mattered. Very difficult now to separate the âunfit to manage roversâ in the thread header because, as Jeff Stelling put it today âoften in the past controversial character on and off the pitchâ for a truly amazing bounce back season on the pitch at our Rovers. He Brought the right players in, gelled them into a superb unit for second half of the season - 19th New Years Day? After unsuccessfully flirting with back three and wing back early on, having to deal with injury issues and unfit players, trying a myriad of options for the right blend, worked out which defenders and other players were letting him down, used January window brilliantly, since end of January the set up, formation, style of football has been spot on, but, more importantly, the players have been set up perfectly in the psychology side of the game, confident, hungry, industrious - about 3 months ago I compared them to velociraptors, and took stick for it, but the way they have worked together to hunt teams down, hunt down what they needed, is like a pack of hardworking hungry dinosaurs, focussed and merciless. after being in the past the controversial character on and off the pitch, and the chequered start to Joeyâs managerial career, this is some sort of redemption for him, especially if he can keep controversy as something in his past, he has demonstrated first through his adversity to battle through in the last 14 months, and lately how his vision and strategies have come to such brilliant success, that he is a promising up and coming young manager with hopefully a fine new career ahead of him. Wether you like it it not, Joey fan boy or Joey hater, we each are part of the glow of this moment of redemption and these fantastic, history in the making and perfectly positive headlines our club have enjoyed thisweekend, we each should receive this moment with gratitude, and every Gashead should acknowledge the role played in it by our manager. He has proved a point on the pitch. And delivered one of our best days in the headlines and one of the best storyâs our club has ever enjoyed. Very well said - much better than I could have done! UTG everybody!

This thread has gone quiet. After over a hundred pages Admittedly he hasn't done anything notably embarrassing in weeks now, but form is temporary and all that No need to thank me for the little reminder - you're welcome! There is only so much you can say. I dont like the bloke, little point going on about it. Hopefully we go up and hopefully he f**ks off And I thought better of you. Letâs all enjoy the moment and look forward to league 1 with a team and manager that plays football in the right way.

Barton Signs Until 2026www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2022/july/barton-signs-until-2026-010722/Well that's a real f... you to every Gashead unwilling or unable to attend since violent criminal thug Joey Barton was appointed on 22nd February 2021. It's also a real f... you to all who believed what Al Qadi said after Barton was arrested, charged, and released on bail for allegedly kicking his wife's head in while Rovers' manager.

In the scenario a Gashead is "unable to attend",what's that got to do with Joe? Nevermind, only about 200 more games he's signed up for. Great news for the mass majority of Gasheads.

How many Gasheads are delighted by this news, compared to how many Gasheads see it as a "F... You" because they stopped attending since Barton was appointed? I would warrant that the 2nd category is a very small percentage, and you can't please all of the people all of the time. As for your 2nd point, Wael will have information from legal sources regarding the likelihood of JB being convicted, if it was so cut and dried it would be done and dusted by now. We have no idea what clauses may be in the new contract regarding termination if he is convicted.

This has never made sense to me. The fact that those Gasheads unwilling or unable to attend while the psychopath's in charge are in the minority, that there are more who care only about winning, who can disregard or simply have no problem with violence and criminality, than there are who care about Rovers' reputation, is irrelevant. Al Qadi should never have appointed a thug resulting in any Gasheads staying away from Rovers. A new contract now is baffling.

Many have gone much further than disregarding or accepting it and are now fully fledged apologists who are able to come up with elaborate excuses for the violence and rule breaking which has featured throughout JBâs adulthood. If the Rovers forums are anything to go by I shouldnât be surprised to see the law changed so that being drunk absolves you from responsibility for any crimes you commit.

Baffles me when somebody re-creates their account just so that they can continue to spew their vitriol. I presume you weren't at Melksham last night, none of the locals seemed to think that Rovers have a tarnished reputation - yet you seem to think that our name is now mud the length and breadth of the country. Of course, we should have stuck with the charming, well dressed Mr Tisdale, who didn't even know the names of all the players after a few weeks in charge (maybe because Tommy refused to tell him) - I'm sure we would have been in the Championship by now.

I'm no fan of Tisdale, but he never got Rovers relegated, nor did his appointment remove supporters from Rovers. As for vitriol, is it vitriolic to be appalled by a hooligan revelling in criminal violence and a bully kicking his wife's head in? Just close season conversation about Al Qadi's inexplicable decision to double down on the appointment of this horrible little thug while he remains on Police bail charged with a viscious attack on his wife.

I recall nobody mentioned it at the time. I don't think football supporters with such an aversion to dull Bristolians tend to choose Rovers in the first place. Was Tisdale ever arrested for smashing someone's face in on the floor then?

Was Tisdale ever arrested for smashing someone's face in on the floor then? So, basically, nobody mentioned it on a football forum which has about 25 regular posters? There are many different reasons which people have for not wanting to watch a team when a certain manager is in charge, it's quite common if they don't like the style of football being played. I'm sure that Mr Tisdale will have received a few cautions from the Fashion Police in his time.
