Given Wael’s due diligence on the UWE I wouldn’t be resting my opinions on his due diligence for B*****’s court case! We don't know what happened with UWE, maybe one day we'll find out. I have no idea why it didn't happen, but one idea put forward was that Rovers' new owners at the time thought that they would be able to renegotiate terms with UWE, when that wasn't possible they backed out of the deal. I don’t think they ever had the funds to build it or at least not to the original spec. There was a lot of rumour that it stalled on the Al Qadi’s being asked to produce a bond to prove proof of funds and that never happened. Then there was the “they should have gone to Jordan” comment. Buy the club, spend a few months procrastinating to make it look like something is happening and then quietly take the plans out the back and put a bolt in their head. We’ll never really know though.

Exactly, there is no pleasing some, i would be happy to win every game with an O.G, play mediocre and get out of this hell-hole of a division we are in. Do we really remember playing superb football, having 70% of play, 20 shots on target and end up losing 1-0, no we always remember hard fought wins. In todays game, fans and boards are very fickle and want success quick and are not prepared to wait and build a good team in time. At last some sense I just want to feel connected to the club again. Maybe I was spoiled having DC here and I want it to be like that all the time. Not a fan of Coughlan or his approach but by Christ I was gutted when he left and was replaced by a blatantly wrong appointment in Garner. Since then the club has been run into the ground and it’s painful to watch whilst your rivals improve their infrastructure to the point they are only a good managerial appointment sway from disappearing into the sunset forever. B***** is more short term thinking- it is more likely to go wrong than it ever is to go right and given the amount we have spent already when B***** eventually departs and is paid off there will be sod all in the piggy bank for the guy who has to pick up the pieces.

It's a strange one for sure. Not saying that you aren't correct, as already said, I have no idea what happened, but if they didn't have the money, or access to the funds, then why throw a fortune at top architects and designers for a project that's going nowhere? It's like buying a set of £5000 Oz wheels for a Ferrari that you know you aren't ever going to purchase.

It's not been run into the ground, they paid off the debt and have built the training ground, as well as funding Garners vision. It didn't work but remember Clarke had a sell by date too. The constant chopping and changing the first team, he had a whole calendar year of poor form, he had earned the time of course.

A great shame many of us, myself included, did not feel the games were good to watch. I liked watching Coughlan's side, they knew their roles and for the life of me, I could not see anything boring about the style. They reminded me very much of the 1990 squad- they knew how to win a game too. Of course, you are right and I was stupid. So many more of us felt the sane. If only we had the advantage of hindsight

Maybe he knows he has nothing to worry about in June. Did Stendel’s teeth extract themselves? A sort of “immaculate extraction?” 😂 Did Stendel attack B***** who pushed him away. In so doing colliding with a stanchion thus causing his injury? I don’t know and neither do you. Why not leave the kangaroo court to the Aussies and let our courts decide on, you know, the evidence. How novel would that be?

Talking about my own experience, I was never given totally unbiased hearings due to previous. I know we can all change but it took me a lot less, in time and in actual behaviour, to do so. We shall see but , B***** or not, we are a shambles.

The next time we are serious challengers,I hope some Gasheads, remember this time since GC left and won't be so bloody fussy.

I doubt any of us on here did witness it but the reports that have been published state that Stendel was pushed from behind. It does appear to follow a pattern but let's see what comes out in court. This is well worth a listen from the CEO of The EFL who has seen and heard the facts but not yet able to take action until the court case is settled. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p076ggpw

If that pattern is a cowardly attack from behind then yes, that certainly would have B*****’s MO all over it. As Irish Rover said, he’s not even a proper hard man, he’s a total fake.

A couple of mentions of a socially distanced Press Conference, back up the thread. It appears that football is exempt. Strange to see someone wearing a face mask, then taking it off to enter a crowded room - the opposite way to the rest of the world!!

I’ve missed the days of Rovers being involved in court cases. Rovers fans will no doubt pack the gallery for this one and we’ll have daily updates like the case against Sainsbury’s. I just hope B***** doesn’t look up the club’s court case win ratio or he might start getting worried...

I don't think I've ever seen so many social media posts by Rovers for any other previous appointment, be that manager, player or owner. Twitter, Instagram, facebook, website. "Announce the appointment" / "JB" / "Straight to work" / "A busy first day for the new Rovers manager" / "First day on the grass..." / "First interview".

I watched the B***** appointment interview, I thought he came across extremely well and had clearly done his homework, he skipped around his grevous misdemeanours as if they were on a level of pinching daffodils from a garden, quoting he is a 'marmite' sort of character, quite remarkable, I don't think anybody's been assaulted by a jar of marmite!, a box of Weetabix mayby!. Forgive me, perhaps I am old fasioned and out of touch, but if I had a similar record, and was about to go on trial for yet another assault, I don't think I would be looking to thrust myself back into the public domain, the pending case would be hanging over me like the sword of damocles guilty or not, how can the man operate and go about his daily work and life in a dignified and conscientious way?. Or perhaps society and values are changing and people just don't care anymore, but I do. Fair comment, but why should he not go to work like anyone else? Mango, The point I was trying to make was, as the job is in the wider public domain, perhaps he should have waited until after his court case to seek employment, doubt he's short of a bob or two.

It seems to me they really are milking this, whether to capitalise on B*****’s name (which is disgustingly trashy) or to slight annoyed supporters who knows, but it’s not a good look either way. The man has a court case coming up and Rovers are trying desperately hard to let the world know that B***** is the manager.

It's unapologetically laying down a marker to those of us who have values and aren't prepared to compromise them in the name of sport. Join us in the sewer or f### off.

Innocent until proven guilty. In that case shall we make sure he wears a club blazer on his way to court? Just so the photographers are in no doubt who he represents when he is in the dock? Wael has turned this club into a Poundland Millwall.
