If anybody is considering Jeff's offer to take over the Forum then believe me it isn't too time consuming. During the post 2006 spat both myself and Kim used to moderate this ones predecessor and really wasn't too difficult even with having to cope with Basel. (That's a joke Steve) There was a lot of crap flying about back then including solicitors threats but nothing to keep anybody awake at night. That's a very generous offer and I'm sure Jeff will ping the passwords straight over to you. And sarcasm always helps.... A new Admin will need to be aware that there will always be those that 'push the envelope' but I am sure if you lay your mark down early all will be fine. |

Life is way too short to continue with something you’re not enjoying and having once been passionate about running this forum I now find, after more than six years, it has become somewhat of a chore so, after much soul-searching, I have decided to move on. I have to say, since this was written, Gas Guzzler's had something of a renaissance. Lots more to read, lots more respectful argument, lots of insight from ex-directors and old timer supporters, lots of news, and lots of interesting opinion worth agreeing or disagreeing with. Well done Guzzlers. And well done Uncle Jeff and Uncle Eppers. Bristol Rovers Independent Fans Forum is the best Gas website. Merry Christmas. |

Thanks Shoves, I think, although I'd suggest the improved results, league position and off-field dramas have played a role in increasing the forums activity.
