......... RE your last paragraph, I don’t attribute all the blame at SH door for the debt, because obviously it isn’t his fault and that lays at the ALQs door too. But the chairman should advise the owners accordingly as well and control the spend. My main issue though was the waste of the playing budget in the last 18months of his reign. Surely that was down to a combination of Darrell Clarke, Tommy Widdrington, Steve Hamer and Wael, but especially Darrell?
Wasn't he responsible for demanding (maybe too strong) a much larger off-the-field budget and bringing in the likes of Mensah and Kyle Bennett on inflated wages. Personally, I'm happy to see some belt tightening now to attempt to bring the operating budget under control.

I think it's poor form to even ask, and dreadful form to mention someone else's real identity on any forum. I just thought it was funny calling you out. And even funnier that it's obviously triggered you. Now, back to you and ITB endlessly bitching at each other. I'm paying attention and waiting for either of you to put forward any kind of constructive suggestion. So far you both sound like that drunk bloke who stands behind the manager and shouts at him to 'do something'. How pathetic an individual are you Bamber? You are a regular pontificating on the forums but hiding behind a mask - and at the same time calling out on others - shame on you. What a wimp! why don't you post under your own name then out of interest? The norm on forums appears to be to use pseudonyms. However, if you were paying attention you would know that I have on several occasions revealed who I am. So here goes again - pay attention this time! I am Roy Cowell, supporter for 76 years, Presidents Club member for 50 years, and I was PC chairman for over 10 years. I have been a season ticket holder for more years than I can remember and for the last 15 years I have occupied an executive box in the West Stand. I was a supporter of the Dunford family (and still am), and appreciated the efforts of the Nick Higgs Board. When the Al-Qadi family took over I was supportive and helped install Abdulkader Abdullah Al-Qadi, the father of the family, as President of the BRPC. I am sure we are all sad to hear that he is unfortunately not now in good health. I am a fanatic (hence the avatar) and I want the best for BRFC. Come on Bambi Whilst in principle I don't have a problem with users revealing their real names, I don't think this should be encouraged. Everyone (rightly or wrongly) has the right to anonymity. Revealing another users real name without their permission is definitely off limits. Sometimes things can get heated and revealing your true identity could well mean revealing where you work, where you live, what family members you have etc etc and that could lead to repercussions. I agree totally that revealing another posters real name is off limits. However, posting anonymously is a cowards way of expressing a view. I’ve not seen this place like this before. I hope it gets back to non personal comments and not having digs at each other soon. Indeed KP, poor old Harry seems to have found some like minded people. Maybe we can get a new forum section, called something like Jeremy Kyle Corner? Whilst this is going on, and they are trying to work out whether or not Hamer is lurking in the shadows, south of the river, they've just paid £5m for a player. This is the real story. That gap just gets bigger and bigger. We need a vision, a stadium and modern facilities to compete or we'll continue to be a YoYo 3rd/4th tier club, until one day our luck runs out and we go the same way as Bury. |

They got shot of Brownhill, to the same club and made a 4 million profit. We are not going to be seeing any real derby games until or if we get someone with real clout, own our club. |
