I used to love my school days holidays to Padstow, growing up. When it came to May Day celebrations we naturally preferred to follow the Blue Oss around the town, rather than the Red Oss. Rather apt for today, being Remembrance Sunday and 100 year Armistice Day, the Blue Oss is also known as the 'Peace Oss'. Absolutely brilliant day and the pasty shops sell more that day than the rest of the month.padstow at Xmas as well is beautiful with the harbour all lit up and remembrance day is always something special.this is the first time for years I haven't been home for today but my thoughts are with them no matter where I am. |

Oldie and Vaughan both mentioned October, and Vaughan now has to supply Vertigo with a bottle of bubbly as nothing came out in that month. Both have given 'sort of' updates as to why the date may have slipped. If nothing comes out by the end of November I believe I also offered to by Vaughan and Vertigo (and possibly some-one else) a pint.
I think there was a a pretty strong implication that the date was October 2018. UTG.

Sometimes a dignified exit, if done well, can be cleansing. I am not on any Rovers Facebook pages apart from the tote end old boys page. I see screenshots of passionate gas now and again and am very very happy that I quickly left the page. It’s an awful pit, full of hatred, intolerance, egotistical racists and much worse. No one with any reasonable intelligence would not want to be a part of it. I saw a female talk of throwing breeze blocks through a certain players window to wishing for career ending injury on our own players. It really should not be allowed to continue as is, in my opinion of course |

Once again you are being played KP,you should have learned your lesson by now I can only say that I have 3 contacts that are close to the now much tighter inner circle. I don’t think I’m being played by them as I’ve know 2 for over 3 decades. The other is a player. If I’m being played then so are they but it doesn’t really matter as I’m a skeptic with regards to anything that is related to Rovers & I have always said that I will only believe anything if I’m sat in the mythical ground and see our club play in it. I just sometimes pass on what I hear & I believe this is where I sometimes have bad judgment. The thing is, most will say name you source but, if I said to you, I promise I will not divulge your name then did, would you ever trust me again ? i have never purposely given out the names of people who put their trust in me. |

Alistair....That did make me laugh. Rovers are the ones I always have to chase to get money for the book sales I give commercial shops 30 days to pay their account they never do !.
What I say on here are my views and frankly nothing to do with Hani whoever he is. I don't try and upset you or others on here just try to put you right when you spout off untruths. You seem to want to question my motives about writing books about our Club and I have offered to meet you to discuss further but you have refused. The latest rumour I’ve heard from a source with the club is that the takeover has hit a major snag in that the proposed new owners have been having negotiations with UWE to revive the deal and then announce the takeover with also a date of construction but unfortunately the UWE is now dead in the water because the UWE are taking the piss.
On a more positive note the good news is that the new owners are still keen but will be looking at alternative locations such as the airfield but obviously this will add years to whatever I’d say if they struck a deal with whoever now owns the airfield in my opinion you’re looking at least 4 years to eventually get it finished from design to completion and my worry would be 2 things;
one;these new owners plan to build homes on the mem which could well change especially as house prices are expected to tumble in March
2: we could be a non- league team by then thus interest in buying the club will drastically be reduced. Don’t shoot the messenger it's only the latest update I heard .

Oldie? Vaughan? KP? Any updates from your contacts? Let's keep the anchored thread going... With the previous owners loads got leaked, we all knew a lot more than we should have. When these owners arrived I knew nothing about it until maybe 48 hours before it was officially confirmed, even then I didn't know details. If these owners can get to grips with the way the previous owners handled information, I'm fairly sure that they won't be allowing details of their departure, whether it's contingent on where the housing market is next March etc to fall into the hands of Vaughan, KP and Oldie. No disrespect to anyone who has been given information, I just don't believe that it's safe to assume that it's accurate. |

I don't assume any of it is 100% accurate. Maybe I just want to believe that Dwane Sports are willing to sell, and soon.
I am pretty sure that if they are still here in a couple of years time we are going to be well and truly up sh*t creek without a paddle. And definitely not in Div 1.
