Dwane Developments was incorporated as late as March 2018. The point of that is what? Or has something got worse in the past 5 months since then.
Leverage the assets in land to develop thus creating enabling funds? Who would have thought it😏😏 I indeed who would've thought it? Probably the paddy's who owned the site previously and couldn't develop it for housing

According to Baggins on Gaschat Forum, I know diddly squat. That's reassuring as my glass is half-full again.
I will keep the text messages I received for posterity.
Let's roll with it and meet again following GT's next interview on the subject.

I'm assuming you are talking about suggesting to Hamer that you organise something about supporters raising millions towards building a stadium? Why don't you go back again, but with proof of funds / structure / commitment from investors, maybe you'll get a different answer....

Unfortunately not as far as I can see unless we get another rescue like 1986 when the Dunford family came to our rescue. As for your comment about previous regimes doing less for us didn't one of them buy us a ground of our own after not having one for 60 odd years so maybe the did more than the current regime who are admittedly putting an infrastructure in place but on the other hand the debts have rocketed in the last 2 and half years to a state where it is nearly unsustainable. I know you will say we owe it to the owners but at some time they will call the debt in.where will that leave us We moved to the Mem in 96. That was great, but since then what has happened at The Mem? Pretty much nothing, and what did was done with money from the fans. We are where we are. Not a lot any of us can do about it. If anyone would like to start anything against the ownership and get people to join them and do something, more power to them That's because Geoff Dunford, and the Chairmen that followed only looked upon the Mem as a temporary home

Chatting to an ex director over a beer last week he was convinced that planning permission for housing on the proposed training site would never be granted. Not convinced personally.

This is what the young kiddies on Gas Chat just don’t get. Unfortunately their time will probably come.

I kind of agree that the football club is a community thing, but actually it also needs revenue. Most football clubs lose money (TV money aside for the lucky ones). £4 a pint isn't cheap but its not Friday night out prices either. As for the pasty, that is toppy. £4 for a pasty is toppish but no more than other entertainment outlets, but as for having Epping in his Gas name the last time I was in Epping it was more than £4 a pint in the pubs.... Been on holiday - so sorry for the delay in responding. Could I ask which pub you were in and what you ordered? For "regular beer/lager" The Duke is £3.50 a pint, even the Black Lion (with Sky) is £3.80 for a Doom Bar. The awful TOWIE George & Dragon might be able to rip off Essex twats at £4 a pint (they only have 1 or 2 pints as most of their disposable income goes up their nose). Personally I drink at the Garnon Bushes in Coopersale at £3.20 a pint, or the Theydon Oak - £3.50 for guest beer and £3.70 for Fosters. So - have a look at the average wages for Epping Forest and the average property prices - and compare the same with north-east Bristol. Then tell me I'm not being ripped off at £4 a pint in bloody Horfield!

Epping,
So based on your sensitivity to beer prices, you would not be one to welcome a direct debit to pay £10 a month for ground re-development if we wanted to stay remotely on topic? 😂
I do not how that figure translates into Beercoin currency. You do the Maths.

You do the Maths. If the money was ring-fenced - then yes, no problem. We have Adam Smith in goal. I am sure he would be able to give you a run through about 'the invisible hand'. £4 a pint will mean people drinking elsewhere before the game. Do I want do 'donate' money to the Club in the form of rip-off beer prices? No, I do not. But I guess someone has to foot the bill for the £250k a year office in London. It's not me though. :-)

Seriously though, turnover (60%) dictates the wage bill in SCMP terms, so every penny spent in Stadium theoretically goes to fund players.
It is not coming from any donations or equity funding on part of AlQs.
Not having pot-shots, but the reality is that how BCFC supplement their wage-bill via SL.
They have SL. We have SR.

it's easily £4 plus in The Welly. For every £4 you send DC can have £2.40

Which they would then appear to spend on an ever-expanding senior management team, numerous consultants, and a £250k a year London office. I concede that some money filters through to the development squad and improvements to the actual pitch. "Investment" in the bars / shop are effectively paid for by supporters through increased prices. If the profits that BRFC receive from me were seen to go into 1. strengthening the 1st team, or 2. helping build a new stadium, or 3. helping build a category 2 training facility I might be a little more enthusiastic about making a charitable donation. As it is - stuff the new shirt and I'll drink in the Commercial Rooms in town. That's Adam Smith for you.

On Tom G interview he stated that profits from food and drink go to DC playing budget. As this is the only statement I have heard I believe him unless you can post something factual that means he lied.
