Okay people, Let's get this party started. Expecting a win today. I need one as I work with a Bury fan. I am in town for this game so I'm hoping for a good performance from all of us.

Merry Good Friday everyone, and if there's any agreement today, surely it's we need a win? And so do Bury. So anticipate goals today.
Just me, but it appeared obvious that Craig form got better when he had a big bloke playing next to him (in form of broadbean) in conventional back 4.....so I would pair Sweeney/Broabent with Craig/Lockyer. Of course, that's not gonna happen, but to me it appears logical and sensible.
I envisage a tough start to the match, but if we can quash the opening 15mins and get into our gameplan, I don't foresee many problems. Except J o'Shea. He likes to score against us. So... Gas 3-1. 8999.
Up to 10th..
Enjoy the match and happy holidays..

Merry the Friday before the Sunday after the full moon after the vernal equinox everyone. I am less sure Bury fancy playing for a win today; they need wins somewhere but perhaps not at the Mem. We are neither good enough for promotion nor bad enough for relegation. We ought to be good enough to win at home against the bottom-placed team. We should feel free to attack and to score. We need to be winning games like this to get back on target for ninth place. No to human sacrifices; yes to bank holiday Rovers wins.

15:30 and onlymoved by us but no effective moves. Playing Mensah and Nicholls is not working. We really should be at their throats but it looks like we are not capable of that, right now. Crowd is good from our fans but empty I see 3 fans in the away terrace.

HT 0-0. Not massively enthused by the line up. Sympathy start for Nichols? We are not a charity. I'll go for 1-1 at FT. We'll score after Nichols is subbed and they'll score from a lump into the box which are vertically challenged centre-backs will be unable to defend against.

I could be wrong but Mensah puts a hospital ball out to one of their players, who comfortably turns it into the net. Rovers Nil, Bury 1. Awful, just awful

This is one of the worst games I’ve seen us play. Bypassing midfield all the time

Was it leadbitter of Mensah who put the pass to their player ? No idea, KP... Unfortunately, I'm watching via live text, which just stated "the ball breaks to Danns"

That's got to be it for Nichols. Surely. Out on loan with GPS coordinates for a barn door.

Lines scores penalty to make it 2-1 gas. I do not believe it was a penalty but these things balance out over a season uTG
Kyle Bennet made that one

Bye Bye Nichols.Mediocrity personified. Truly dire. It was an insult to Bury, to the substitutes and everybody who paid to watch the game to start him. The moment he went off we were back in the game.

Mensah played well imo. Neat passes and one-twos, left his marker standing a few times with smart turns, and set up a few chances. Seems to have a footballing brain that our other costly forward lacks. Didn't see if it was him who gave the ball away for their goal but we gave the ball away so much all over the pitch all game that it was going happen sooner or later. We need to up the pace and show some urgency. Please don't play Nichols anymore, he's useless. Give Telford and Mensah a go up front for the rest of the season. Nothing to lose.
