I honestly can't. Damage certainly done with the supporters. God help the buggar if he ever returns to the Mem for a league fixture. i dont see it, its money any bloke would do it Would do what? He can want to come back all he likes, I'm fairly sure his former Gaffer wouldn't want him anywhere near the place in a playing capacity. I sure as hell wouldn't.

serious question, why does it trouble you ? I didn't lose any sleep over it, plenty of genuine troubling times going on in life to spend more time thinking about. I'm just puzzled that he sat in the centenary stand watching a team that he chose to leave at the 11th hour on a sour note with the club. Maybe as part of the "Gentleman's agreement" with the s**t we have first dibs on him if he became available again.....

I'm just puzzled that he sat in the centenary stand watching a team that he chose to leave at the 11th hour on a sour note with the club. fair dos, its the reality of money i suppose, to us its our team to [most] players its a wage/living . i can see him back one day I'm not a betting man but as long as DC is our manager I would put my house on the fact that he would never wear the shirt under Darrell's watch, where body language and communication is concerned on the few occasions I saw the snake up in the boxes he gave off a sense of smugness and arrogance and a look of i'm too good to be here, doesn't fit in with the hard working and dedicated ethos under DC, have another look at the DC interview if its still online following the snakes departure, leaving a club to go to the nearest rivals is one matter, how that departure is conducted is quite another, if all that matters in someones life is purely money then the snake clearly made the right move for now. To see the players of the past line up on the pitch yesterday with pride of playing for the Rovers and having not earned a great deal from the game is a million miles away from snake gate and is IMO much more in tune to what this club of ours is all about. We all know the way that transfer took place was underhand, no dignity whatsoever, and SH and WAQ were justifiably upset with the nature of the role played by Bristol Sport (football dept) and the snakes agent, to claim that the snake had no idea it was being dealt with in an underhand nature would IMO be fantasy, the club are much better off without him in my view and most fans I doubt would ever want to see him return.

We should be after a striker for promotion from the third division. Taylor's a striker for promotion from the fourth. Don't expect to see him too often in the second division for the ten months Bristol Sport 1982 remain there.

Read more: gasheads.org/thread/6603/west-brom?page=2#ixzz4oKg2oizOin DC's interview re the transfer did he not mention something along the lines of" i know something about MT that would surprise a lot of people" perhaps this is what it is, BRFC get £300,000 + or - a few £'s and he comes back in 6 months later for sweet FA!!... but if he does/has come back he will have to show a bit of humble pie and be prepared for a load of verbals from the favourite end!!..... but all is forgiven if he cracks in a quick brace or two and the team push on from where we were or thereabouts on his departure

Talking about Bristol Sport............................... I often go to Radio Bristol's Sports Forums hosted by Geoff Twentyman. There's one tomorrow @ Ashton Gate. Lee Mansell from Rovers and Marlon Pack from City. Anyways............last minute email from Radio Bristol a day or so ago saying please be advised that there will be a charge for parking at Ashton Gate car park.(no mention of how much) This never happened at GCCC or the Mem! How to make friends with the sports fans of Bristol!

Bit early to talk about the young defenders. The did well yesterday but test will be when there is more of an aerial bombardment I think Tom Broadband would excel in that type of game, might find it trickier against a slithering snake type striker!

Impressed by the new sprinklers - 4 rows of 3. Minor detail maybe but another to drag us up to date. WHERE'S THE MONEY, WAEL?!

No sprinkler playing in the hole which leaves the back 4 badly exposed and we just weren't wide enough to cover the dry patches in the vulnerable areas. It's quite clear that we remain set in our English ways of believing that it is sufficient to send out 12 well motivated sprinklers imbued with the bulldog spirit and have completely failed to move with the times and incorporate modern sprinkler coaching methods from Spain which have managed to irrigate entire deserts and turn them into passable football pitches. Very disappointing stuff - we will be found out at this level.
