Yes Gaffney's goal great - if you watch closely he uses his right then his left , back on to his right before finishing with his left !
Hull's goals 2 very good finishes - both coming from Rovers players losing the ball when trying to get up the pitch from inside our half. Good highlights overall.

Very impressive performance, particularly first half against a full strength top 10 Prem side! Thought we looked right at it, sharp & played some lovely football throughout. Strength in depth is there to see, especially in the keeper department. Both looking assured & making some very decent stops.
Great to see Nichols get off the mark as well with a lovely finish near the end.
Hope Aitken had a lovely afternoon!

Agree with those sentiments, first half in particular we kept the ball very well and looked in control, one of those games where if you were a non football fan asked to point out which team was the prem team it wouldn't have been obvious to answer.
Great to see so many old faces back at half time, not so great to see the snake sat in the Dribuild though.

Free country i suppose, doubt he would have had it so easy if it were a league game, what I don't understand is why he turned up.

Plenty of good football played by rovers today. Both keepers did well, broadbent looks like a real find, young players bola and meyanese did well in the 2nd half. Lovely goal from nicholls after a great through ball from gaffney. We started with a 4-5-1 formation, wouldnt be suprised if dc goes with that at charlton next sat.

Hope Aitken had a lovely afternoon! He did! I'm pretty certain he doesn't go on these sites so I'll just add that he was very pleased with how the whole afternoon went, including the win! Great to see the past players at the start of the match, and big thanks to everyone at the club who made the afternoon go so well. Pulis stayed behind long after the game for photos, chats and to meet up with Pete and his family.

Impressed by the new sprinklers - 4 rows of 3. Minor detail maybe but another to drag us up to date.

Depends if you're on the Dribuild/West Stand or Thatchers/South Stand. There was a moment before the game when the rows of sprinklers synchronized with the music. I'm sure if they work at it it could become a half-time feature!.

On a sombre note,I was saddened to hear both Stu Taylor & Lin Parsons have dementia.
