Good.
Now, especially if we just ignore Jim Chappell, we can go back to being happy rather than distraught.

Moral of the story.....don't listen to bookie gossip, rumour, counter-rumour or idle gossip, or newspaper tittle-tattle.. Wait for the facts.

DARRELL CLARKE AGREES A NEW CONTRACT WITH THE CLUBBristol Rovers are delighted to announce that Darrell Clarke has agreed to remain at The Memorial Stadium as manager and has agreed a new, improved, three-year contract which will make him the highest paid manager in the club’s history. There has been speculation all week that Darrell might be leaving following an approach by Leeds United to take him to Elland Road. Darrell believes that the ambitions of Bristol Rovers match his own and is looking forward to the challenge of preparing the club for life back in Sky Bet League One for the 2016/17 campaign. Moral of the story.....don't listen to bookie gossip, rumour, counter-rumour or idle gossip, or newspaper tittle-tattle.. Wait for the facts. Why? He was definitely wanted by Leeds, nobody said a deal was done. You'd be insane to joined Cellino's circus unless you were desperate.

Speaks volumes for DC, the new management and the direction we are heading, I still shake my head at that thread when somebody said DC doesn't get on with the new owners...pile of tripe.
Another great day for us, enjoyed loads in the last 18 months.

If that isn't a sign of intent from Wael and the BoD then what will satisfy the snipers, not only will DC become the best paid manager at the club in it's history but he will also be given a fantastic budget to work with to realise his ambitions as a manager to manage as far up the FL as possible, onwards and upwards, great new, keeps the momentum going IMO.

Fantastic news! Hope the idiots don't start wheeling out the 'highest paid manager in history' statement after every bad result.
