Ok just reading the evil post about plan b I noticed that they mentioned that the interest on the 2 million loan was 1.2% per month and did some quick maths as being a gashead I don't need fingers and toes to count past eleven like them south of river 2000000x1.2% = 24k a month in interest what the hell that's mental. That would pay for a striker no problem! Is plan b bankruptcy? I think it may be worse than that. Someone said on this forum that they had seen in the accounts that the Wonga loan was actually £2.6m, so £31200 per month. Well considering the loan is with MSP Capital and not wonga I would take that information with a pinch of salt

What's a club "insider" as surely only a Director would know the answer to this type of question, and it seems even our FD is in the dark. TBH Rovers would have been better just saying nothing at all if NH wasn't prepared to flatly deny the rumours.

Well considering the Liam is through MSP Capital and not Wonga I'll take that information with a pinch of salt I think people have been calling it the "Wonga" loan because of the high rates but actually know it is not with Wonga! Why would you take what is written in the Annual Accounts "with a pinch of salt" as the accounts have to be audited and published. Further there will be a hefty fee for MSP for the extension and restructuring of the loan as indicated by Nicholas. MSP won't renew out of the kindness of their hearts and interest will probably be consolidated.

The trouble is that Nick and the truth have a somewhat strained relationship.

Or potentially, the consortium, if indeed there is one, has not yet made a formal approach, but is instead testing the waters via some well placed leaks. The reporter has tweeted that he is confident that the initial leak came from within the club. The same one who is now leaking that there is nothing in it? Perhaps Boycie is bored now he has sorted out the commercial side of the club and has nothing left to do?

The implication was it was the club's FD not one of the BoD, apparently he's well known for letting secrets out? I suppose the fact CS has suddenly arrived is no coincidence somethings afoot?

There is no consortium; there is no new investment, at least that is what it looks like to me. No one knows who they are, or their contacts, Higgs denies it, club is silent all adds up to bulls**t and it probably started at the Gate

Have I missed something, has NH made a statement? He refused to comment by all accounts which means he hasn't stated an untruth.

Why would he be angered by a rumour that someone might want to buy a football club that he has openly been trying to flog for the last few years! Why does the insider say there is no consortium and then say that they don't know what the offer is yet? All a bit strange.

Hopefully this saga can make it in as a late chapter to Geoff's book.
