I agree. Have said on another thread that Smith's injury at Pompey and Brown's injury on day of Mansfield match left us screwed. Not an excuse but I feel that had both played or even had Brown played last match then I think we would have got the extra point to keep us up. DC was unlucky, not an excuse but as above, he did all he could do last season. You can only compete and do well in the league you're in. And he did that very successfully. UTG! I'd also add Danny Woodards to that list, had Danny not got injured again for the Mansfield game we wouldn't have had to play 3 in defence without wing backs! Nevermind eh Agree but the point I was making is that the injuries to Smith and Brown were right at the end and DC had no chance to replace or in Brown's case it was on the day. He was fairly powerless to do anything. In Woodards case Ward could and should have replaced, he had time. So many things were not dealt with.... lack of forwards, bad attitudes. I do feel those injuries really did us. Smith at Pompey when we were playing well and Brown on the day. But as you say never mind DC righted the wrong. Actually I do mind...having to answer to being non league for a year and two weeks!!! UTG!!

What about the bloke that smashed Taylor in the face I think that he got his shiner when he dived to try to get their keeper sent off. You have watched the highlights, you seem to have missed the aggressive action from the Grimsby CH - Pearson - who also should/could have been sent off. Anyway in in reality none of this s**t matters - we go again #COYB

There are a few FACTS that alot of people seem to forget:- 1- DC inherited a team that most of them did not give a toss about BRFC and had no opportunity to change this. 2- DC got us back into the league straight away, better than most fans thought. 3- DC has changed what us as fans have moaned about - journeyman footballers that are paid too much and don't give a toss about BRFC and has got a squad of players who play for BRFC and each other, that should mean quite a few points next season. What we don't know is how he will do next season. like Steve, I genuinely think DC is an excellent manager but has made mistakes along the way (the major one for me is being too negative away from home last season), but he achieved his target last season and let's get behind him and hope he does this season too.

Apparently we played a game against the University of South Wales yesterday and Kitman Steve Yates had to play in goal.

You are obviously not familiar with the language of forums. If you type 'FACT' when stating an opinion, it becomes, ipso facto a fact. FACT.
