Tuesday was the best evening for those who run the Wellington, and they kindly made no charge!

why would they charge ? suspect they would have been happy with 100 extra customers any night of the week

The Argentina game was on in the Duke of York and in the Welly and finished as the meeting started. The meeting went on a bit longer than expected, but the second game was on in the bar. I ended up watching the extra time in the Reading Service station on the way home.

I genuinely think that ANY future meeting would be much better attended if at the weekend. I have missed both not because I didn't want to go but because I got caught up in day to day crap. I fully back both groups and their intentions but if we are to get well attended meetings then a weekend would work better IMHO

We Do not intend to have any more big meetings before the Q & A at the stadium on July 21st. Will have some news about that in the next couple of days. Czesc !

I was pissed right off not to make it but Sophie has car problems so I ended up getting a bit angry with her as I could have got to the meeting if not for having to bring her home from a photoshoot. All we are is our word, if your word means nothing then it's a poor reflection of you. I feel pretty embarrassed about it mate. You can have a couple of pints mate.

I totally understand that Mark, I would be happy to host a meeting at my place if you need somewhere. The back garden is fairly big and it would maybe even add to the atmosphere. It's just a thought mate and you'd be very welcome to take me up on this offer ok
