If you had to pick a squad based on any players over the last 10 years, would any of the current crop make it? I would have sinclair in the squad.

I think that Trotman steadied the ship in the early part of the season when things were looking very shaky,Barnet away could have been worse if he hadn't been there,I am not saying hes a great player but he did calm things down and his contribution shouldn't be forgotten, Sinclair for attitude,Matt Taylor I like,Leadbitter could be a good one I think,Mansell seems steady...of course this isn't saying they would be alright a division or 2 higher.

Lines and Campbell would have been a good midfield.............

The last 10 years includes the play-off winning season as well as a couple of half decent seasons two tiers above our current one so there's no chance I'd have anyone in from our current squad.

Muzzy Carayol definitely. An absolute quality player in what was the total pits of a campaign! Not sure we have had anyone who has made the game look so easy as him, in a long long time!
He skinned a player so many times at Accrington, I watched the full back recieve a straight red for one of the worst knee high assaults ever on a football pitch!
Yehhhh he was that good!

Michael Smith was great, anyone know how much we sold him for? Probably something sh*t like £50,000 so the club is scared to announce it.
But from the current squad I'd put in Sinclair.

None of them would get in the Wembley team apart from Lines and Brown for Haldane and Carruthers.
Although as this is a hypothetical debate making no allowances for players ages etc, could we perhaps have two Chris Lines? We have 'now' Chris Lines on the pitch, and 'then' Chris Lines on the bench, next to Haldane.
Would anyone notice? What would happen if the two Chris Lines meet? What if the older Chris Lines accidentally killed the young one?

So far I have a squad that would include Anderson (best goalie even if on loan) smudger, brown, steve Elliot, parkes, lines, sinclair Campbell , muzzy, obviously lambert, matt Taylor, Richard walker (he did score at this level), Disley, Lord Byron.

Forster was and has proved to be better than Anderson. For us id say Neil Etheridge is the best keeper we have had in recent times

Anderson was, at best, a slightly above average keeper who loved a bit of banter with the crowd which automatically increased his credibility for some. Logan was the much better keeper of the two.
