On the bright side if we win our last 4, a big if, and we don't win the championship then we should be in fine form for the play-offs, because we'd have taken the playoffs in August!!!

Surpirsed to see Leadbitter pushed out as well as Matt Taylor. There's certainly a lot of trickery upfront with Luther and George upfront. Ellis will get a hat trick. I can feel it in my fingers. Give him a five year contract!!

Can only assume Taylor and Leadbitter are being rested my thought too. But maybe DC has some kind of tactical reason - wingbacks later in the game, maybe? |

It seems that Jermaine Easter's injury on Friday may have been a little more serious than it was let-on to be at the time. Unless it's tactical of course.
Whatever the reason we need all 3pts today, Barnet are still winning (0-1) with about seven minutes to go.

I could not go today but am to nervous to listen in. Should Hughes play I am scared he will take us apart, but will keep fingers crossed we can bring back all points. 53 years a fan of Bristol Rovers but still low in confidence every match. Perhaps one day I will get out of this habit! It's a funny thing that, cos I'm just the opposite, both with BRFC and England. I start each game with bags of energy and enthusiasm (but also a bit nervous too), always confident that we'll do well . . . but it doesn't always work out the way that I hoped that it would.  |

In terms of first touch, hold up play & technical quality, that is a woeful front 2. But the gamble of pace, power, height & unpredictable quality of those 2 could work, hopefully it does. Back 4 is the more solid defensive option, Dawson needs a good 70 minutes not a hit or miss type of game.

That's them relegated and it's all they deserve. 90 mins of football and all they can manage are 3 attempts at goal, zero on target.
