And what on Earth persuaded you to chuck your lot in with the green half of the city? One jolly good reason to support the Mighty Hoops, everything around Edmiston Drive is haunted. I was walking through Bellahouston Park and found an old Freeman's catalogue is some bushes, but when I opened it up to investigate, all of the pages were soaked through with ectoplasm.

Went to Wales - Holland on Friday, Crawley will be a new ground this weekend, Exeter I've done then the day after I'll be at England Women vs Bosnia at Trashton. I've also managed to get a ticket for the Euros next summer.

I am working in Manchester next week, and have just found out that Stalybridge Celtic are at home on the Tuesday- has to be done really Hope you enjoyed your trip to the Bower Fold Rex (assuming game was on and you were prepared to brave the terrible North West weather last night!). I like the Bower Fold - kind of a small version of Twerton Park and surprisingly scenic for somewhere in Stalybridge. Saw FC United play there last season in April which is probably the best time to go to that ground because it really is a nice setting for a football match. Made my first ever trip to Spotland on Saturday as I am slowly ticking off the Greater Manchester Grounds. Only Bolton left then I intend to extend outwards - go up to Blackburn, Burnley and Blackpool in the New Year. I will then have been to all the League Grounds in Lancashire except the big 4 clubs to whom I've never really been able to justify handing over 35-40 to watch a run of the mill Premier League game in which I have little vested interest and is likely to be on the telly anyway. Although I definitely want to go to Goodison. I liked Spotland - proper old fashioned football ground of which there are plenty around here. However, Spotland stands out for still having a terrace - Bury, Stockport and Oldham no longer do. I wasn't able to get to the famous fish and chip shop though. Hoping that my next new ground will be AFC Wimbledon on boxing day though with my luck this year with getting to Rovers games you can probably pencil that one in for being rained off!

I did thanks, although, as you say, the weather was god awful, and had a direct effect on the match, Corby's second goal was from a free kick that got caught in the swirling wind and totally flummoxed the Celtic keeper. I did drive past Wilmslow Albion's ground every day, I shall have to try and catch a game there when I'm back up in January

I did St Johnstone v Dundee last night, and right now I'm in the bar at Motherwell waiting for the game v Hearts. I was heading for Du.barton, the Stirling, but both games have been called off so I thought I would pop down to Fir Park, and see how their new manager is doing, some bloke called McGhee apparently.

I always like to have a bet when I go to a new ground, so have gone for a first goal scorer at 7/1, bloke called Clarkson, his name rings a bell.

Our David has been troubling the bench (exclusively) more than the wee onion bag (not at all).
7/1! (As someone said)...never seen a bookie on a bike.

I am going to the Etihad on Tuesday night to watch the league cup quarter final between Man City and Hull. Been living here for 6 years and it's the first time I've been to either of the Manchester giants - bit ridiculous to be honest! Looking forward to it - £18 was very reasonable too.

Josh Law was also on the bench for Motherwell !

Our Josh Low packed up football recently (well, Bath City) to study Law. Weird, or what!

Oostende was fun, ended 2-1 to the visitors Sint-Truidense. Dead easy trip to do if not a massively long day.

Just arrived in Dundee after a 7 hour drive from Preston due to flooded motorways, and the bloody games off!

Just arrived in Dundee after a 7 hour drive from Preston due to flooded motorways, and the bloody games off! Christ. Since Oostende I've taken in games at some new grounds; Skipped Dagenham away to see Barry Town United beat Goytre 2-1 at Jenner Park, an exciting game and really nice club. Very enjoyable (for an athletics ground). Last Tuesday I'd planned to go to Leamington against Altrincham but unfortunately 30 minutes before kick off the game was called off... Fortunately we thought on our toes, got on to Non-League Matters and discovered Stratford were at home, 2 minutes later that was off so it was a quick drive to Solihull for Solihull Moors against Grimsby. A cracking game ended 3-2 to the visitors. Unfortunately I've already ticked off Moors...
