Just arrived in Dundee after a 7 hour drive from Preston due to flooded motorways, and the bloody games off! Feel for you Rex, buy yourself a lottery ticket you deserve some luck after that! So is that a 7 hour drive back too? No, off to Edinburgh tomorrow for the street party, but if you want to feel really sorry for me, today is my birthday.

I was considering a trip up to Dundee to catch the derby that kicks off early, followed by a dash upnto Montrose to catch their derby with Arbroath. However the forecast isnt great, so I think I will pop just along the road for Livingston v Queen of the South, where no doubt my mind will be more on events at The Mem.

Livingston, the Scottish franny. A little closer to home, pondering going to Pontypridd on Wednesday. Doubt it'll be on with current weather issues though. Should have my 92 count well above 70 by the end of the season and my overall ground count will at least be 250 by the end of 2016. Last year I wanted to hit 200 and did that in April ending on 224.

Got Barnet tickets, will be my 51st ground overall. Pretty lightweight compared to most on here!

Did ground 225 tonight, Pontypridd Town 3 Abergavenny Town 0 in the Welsh fourth tier. Good game watched by about 50 people on a long grassed pitch. New grounds coming up include Barnet and Accrington. Hopeful of getting a couple of midweek games in as well. Pretty much exhausted everything within a hour this side of the bridge so will be taking in more Welsh games. Really enjoy the total hate for rugby at some of these clubs!

I played a cricket match at Cheddar when I was a kid but I've never found the ground again despite being a fairly regular visitor to the place.

Ok - that would make sense. I don't really know Somerset League Cricket grounds (apart from Purnells CC in Paulton where Steve Phillips played when he was growing up). I've only ever played in the Bristol Leagues or West of England. It's a little thing that bothers me because I feel I should know where it is. I know I could google it etc but that's not really the point!

Productive evening, planned a hop in Scotland in February. Probably Hamilton - Celtic on the Friday night then the world is our oyster on Saturday. Have also bagged another ticket for the Euros in Albania - Romania in Lyon.

I did Hamilton a few years ago on the New Year derby with Motherwell. It was 0-0 , and possibly the coldest I have ever been at a football match(far worse even than Nuneaton last season).
I never went to the old ground, but I'm pretty sure the supermarket next door is the actual site of the old Douglas Park.
If you are looking for a new ground on the Saturday, Dumbarton might be a shout if you haven't already been there. Although it's a 'new' ground, apparently they are planning to move, so you will have to get in quick if you want to tick it off!

I'd have to get two tickets though the lad I'm going with is Brentford he leans towards Rangers. Odd chap. He lives in Edinburgh so I think it'll just be a case of seeing what we fancy on the Saturday.

Awfully boring and sluggish month, went to Yate - Bridgwater on Saturday. Not a great game, not a new ground, rubbish.
26th-28th I'm going to Scotland. Hamilton - Celtic on Friday, Alloa - Livingston on Saturday, Spartans WFC - Stirling University on the Sunday. Also heading up to the North East in April so I'll be off to Sunderland - West Brom. As for this weekend? A f**king wedding...
