Solihull Moors is a ground I've done twice thanks to an annoying postponement.
Tonight I'm off to Cardiff Met vs Spartak Subotica in the Women's Champions League, Saturday will be Swindon and then Tuesday I'll try and find an interesting local non-league game to put some money towards. Tonight will be my 250th ground.

Southend and Chelsea were my 33Rd and 34th of the current 92 respectively. Coincidentally I might be going to Solihull Moors game v Macclesfield on Monday as visiting a uni friend who lives there and watches them occasionally. If so that will be my 56th ground overall.

To be fair, cutting back this season and doing more quality over quantity. Hopefully one in Rhodes, missing some Saturdays because of weddings and bloody stags. If I can get to 300 by the end of 2017 I'll be happy. Running out of local ones.

Good game last night, Cardiff Met went down 3-2 but still have a chance of reaching the Champions League. Qualifying is done through a round robin and they won their first match so not over yet!
That was 250th ground, was my new years resolution to get there. Started the year on 213 so a decent little run. Hopefully up to over 260 by the time the year is out. Would like a cracker for my 300th.

I am up for the Old Firm game in September, had have just realised it's a 12 o'clock KO, which means I should be able to dash across town and make Partick v St Johnstone at 3PM. I nearly got there a couple of seasons ago, but the game was called off as I arrived at the ground (which at least allowed me to make another dash across town to tick off St Mirren)

The other two stands are newish boring stands with a grass bank (which, used to be a terrace) at one end. It's a worthwhile one that's for sure!

I have been there a few times, just never got to see a match there. I like the outside where they still have (or did have last time I was there)the old turnstile entrances, complete with some very old fashioned pricing.

Went to Edgeley Park this afternoon. Wanted to go to FC United but it was made an all ticket game for some reason.
Just wanted to report that Stockport still look like they are in a real mess. I reckon there was 1200 people there max but there must have been 30 stewards, 6 kiosks open, all 4 stands open etc. I know a lot of that is volunteers but they are still acting like they are a League club. £15 to go to a Conference North game on an August Bank Holiday Monday is ridiculous. They need to take one step back in order to take several steps forward in my view.
Decent game - County deservedly won 1-0 against a Worcester side that look a good bet to go down. Be amazed if County launched any kind of promotion bid even with ex lower league uber lump Kayode Odejayi bumbling around the penalty area for them.

Ground 251 today Longlevens vs Lydney, looked to be heading for an entertaining 0-0 until in the last minute Lydney's fullback cut inside and was brought down in the area, stonewall penalty, no problem. What happened next was just odd...

Went to Gigg Lane today as it was just round the corner from the cricket ground where my match was abandoned and I saw an entertaining monsoon game that Bury utterly dominated while playing some nice stuff. If they keep Pope and Vaughan fit and firing they could go very well this year.

Booked up to go to watch Glentoran when we were supposed to play Fleetwood. The Oval isn't long for this world and I really want to visit. Hoping I can blag a ticket for Northern Ireland - San Marino that night as well.

Flights are pretty cheap to be fair, I'm going Saturday morning and back Monday morning for £48.

OK - I'm not in the same league as some of the people on here. But went to Berlin a couple of weeks ago to see Radiohead at Lollapalooza. Managed to get tickets for FC Union Berlin / Karlsruhe the day before. A lot of strange looks as we marched into the home end wearing the quarters (Karlsruhe also play in blue). We were made very welcome. Fantastic atmosphere. 3 sides of terracing in a proper football ground. Beers through the game and drinking on the terrace. We went to the Union Tanke before the game and then were bought beers at the Bierstübchen Hauptmann. If you are in Berlin - don't go to Hertha - plastic fans in an all-seater. FC Union - proper football club. "Eisern Union". And good win vs St Pauli yesterday as well (on BT Sport 3).

Union are fine but at some clubs you'd have been asked to take off your shirt and hand it in... No really...
