Did Caldicot vs West End tonight, loving the Welsh pyramid at the moment. I've played there, there's probably a plaque somewhere with my name on it. You sure it's not a wanted poster ? Probably go past that ground 2 or 3 times a week

Llantwit Major is a lovely little town, eight plus pubs that were really, really nice. The football ground wasn't amazing but did have a windmill near by which, is important. Tonight I'm off to Panteg AFC, enjoying the Welsh League at the moment. Will be doing Treharris on Friday and I've not decided if I'm going to do a Saturday game before Sunday's Non-League Double Header at Wembley.
I realise I'm probably chatting to myself here.

Last weekend I got to tick off Treharris which, was fantastic. Really good game as well with Abergavenny beating a 9 man Treharris 2-1... Did Non-League Finals Day on Sunday at Wembley. A good day that could have been better organised (the two hour gap in between was a bit much). Lots of ex-Gas with Ryan Green and Martin Horsell featuring for a Hereford managed by Peter Beadle, Grimsby of course included Andy Monkhouse and Craig Disley. Unfortunately none of them came away with a winners medal. In Leeds this weekend and trying to find a game between Leeds and Bristol on Sunday, Wythenshawe Town currently looks the best bet. After that it'll be one more game before the Euros as I watch Wales Women take on Norway at Newport's old Spytty Park.

I have been to all the league of Ireland grounds with the exception of Waterford Utd and last season started on the grounds north of the border. Have met a few ex rovers players along the way and we even have an ex player in the FAI hall of fame with his portrait hanging in reception - any idea who it is? (clue, its not Mickey Evans!!)

Going to guess at former Loanee and Shamrock Rovers legend Gary Twigg?
The last couple of years I've had three trips to Ireland including trips to Bohemians, Shamrock Rovers, St Pats, Lansdowne Road, Crusaders and snuck in to look around Bray during the day. Dallymount is perfection, one of my favourite grounds. With the news Glentoran are moving I'll be doing a weekend trip to The Oval next season. Any others worth a visit? Derry is also on my to do list.

Bit further back than Gary Twigg, its Joe Haverty... As for grounds, Tolka Park (Shelbourne) has a lot of history and is easily accessible from the city centre, also United Park (Drogheda Utd) a short train ride is worth a trip for that '1980's Div 4' feel!! Fans at both clubs are very proud of each clubs history and like a chat. Good pubs on both grounds door-steps as well

For some reason I have a Drogheda scarf, never seen them, very odd really. Will have to tick it off though if it's easy from Dublin. With it being a summer league it's good for little weekend trips.

Do it! Let us know if you are coming across. Always a good time to catch games when the Champions League/Europa qualifiers start as there are midweek games in those competitions, pre-season friendlies with UK teams and if course the domestic league. If you time it right, you can get 4 or 5 games at different grounds in the same amount of days. Dundalk are in the Champions League, ground near the train station and Liam Burns (remember him?) is on their coaching staff. Nice bloke and speaks very fondly of us

I doubt I'll be across this summer (spending all my money at the Euros), do need to get across soon though!

I must tell him that!! I have a match worn Gary Twigg one.. Was at the Ireland v Netherlands game Friday night, quite a low attendance considering it was the Irish 'send off' match, only a few hundred Dutch fans as well. This Sunday off to Cabinteely v Drogheda Utd in the League of Ireland Division One

Glentoran are moving? When? I need to get that in before they do.
Me and my wife are holidaying in Mayo this year, she doesn't know it yet, but I am aiming to tick off Galway United & Sligo Rovers
BTW, Treharris looked like a proper ground!

You might get to see ex-lonee Sam Oji line out for Galway! Both friendly clubs, Sligo even covered us in a match day programme around 2 years ago when they were doing a feature on other 'Rovers' around the leagues
