Anyone going to the Euros? I'm going with a group of Gasheads and we're heading too...
Ireland vs Sweden @ Stade de France, Saint Dennis. Portugal vs Iceland @ Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, St Etienne. Romania vs Switzerland @ Parc de Princes, Paris. Albania vs Romania @ Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Lyon.
Should be wonderfully messy, really looking forward to it. Also ticking off four French grounds is a massive bonus. Looking to get to Lille and Lens in the next couple of years, they're easy to do by car/train.

Stevenage will be number 88 for me, never quite done the 92, but have at times seen all the league clubs play a home game (as I will have again after Stevenage). I will lose West Ham next Season, and unless we get a good cup draw for me, there will be no new ones with Rovers. I am off to the Old Firm game next Sunday, and hope to tick off at least one on the Saturday. Dumbarton kick off at 5.15, so if Partick get a home match after the post split fixtures come out, I should be able to do both in a day. Failing that I could do Clyde and then miss kick off at Dumbarton (Or I could just be sensible and go out with my wife and daughter who will be up there with me- but I suspect that's very unlikely

Aberdeen isn't that hard, there are direct flights from Bristol and the old man worked with a load of Dandy Dons for company while up there. Everything else is in or just off the central belt. The 92 is the priority though, I'll just tick off the 42 when I'm up visiting mates.
Edit:
Getting a new Western League ground in on Wednesday, off to Chard Town. They were supposedly leaving the ground this season due to the steepness of the hill they play on, no really! They've now been allowed to stay there for at least two seasons...

Luckily for me, I was on holiday near Inverness last year and Ross County and ICT both played at home while I was up there. I did stop at Peterhead's ground the previous year when I was up in Banff but no game was on (also saw quite a few Highland league grounds) and managed to tick off Pittodrie who were at home in The Europa League. I think I've done 21 or22 of the 42 (41 actually that East Stirling share these days). I don't know if it was just because it was a European game and a sell out, but Pittodrie was brilliant, the crowd really got behind them, and it is definitely worth a visit before they move.

I've heard a lot of good things about sell outs at Pittodrie, I guess it's similar to derby nights at Easter Road/Tynecastle. Look forward to the return of the Zombies next season?

Look forward to the return of the Zombies next season?Hmm, dunno if 'look forward to' is the right expression. I am up for the game at Hampden next week, and there is a part of me that misses the games, but inevitably at some point they will beat us again, and that I'm most definitely not looking forward to! I don't know if it is as simple as the lack of any real competition, but Celtic are unarguably a worse side then they were when Rangers disappeared. Despite constant jibes about it being a pub league, Celtic were mixing it with the best in Europe only a few years ago, but the huge wealth of the big European leagues has certainly done for the likes of Celtic.

I was at the draw with Hamilton and Celtic were absolutely woeful, lucky to get out of there with a point. f**king Hamilton...

I speak as a lapsed (incredibly armchair) Celtic fan but this is one of the main problems with European football at the moment. It's not just Rangers and Celtic who have gone down the pan because they can't possibly compete with the big leagues - it's also Porto, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, Ajax, PSV, Feyenoord, Anderlecht etc. These are bloody massive clubs that are penalised for no other reason than that they play in small countries. It's why I thought that the Atlantic league idea was the only form of European Superleague that may have had legs. If you'd taken those clubs plus a few others thrown in a couple of Scandinavian teams and just possibly have a couple of teams in Dublin and Belfast it could make sense from the point of view of those clubs. Disaster for the leagues left behind and absolutely franchise football etc....But those leagues are kind of dying anyway and I don't know what you do if you are those clubs. I'm not sure how you break that cycle - I don't think there's anything you can really do about it. 10 years ago a Celtic side included Chris Sutton, John Hartson, Henrik Larsson, Bodo Balde, Didier Agathe, Alan Stubbs, Silian Petrov. That was a really fun side to watch. Those are players that would have graced any league in Europe at the time - there's absolutely no way any of them would be at Celtic in the current era. Same applies to any clubs in that bracket. You can see where the frustration comes from. From a neutral standpoint I find the Champions League an increasing turnoff - every year there seems to be a reduction in the number of teams that could feasibly win it and it is pretty hard to imagine a side from outside of the England, Germany, France and Italy winning it now (and only a select 1 or 2 teams from each of those countries). What is the point of European football if it isn't really European?

Stevenage ticked off, I won't be rushing back...
York will also be a new tick, probably going to Cardiff Met tomorrow night and will hopefully sneak in some more games to push past the 100 game mark for the sixth consecutive season. Currently looking for a game somewhere between Leeds and Bristol on the 29th of May, Wythenshawe Town have a charity match on so I might be going there.

How about Garnlydan AFC, just outside Ebbw Vale, play in the North Gwent League and play according to their web site at a 1st class football venue. That's sort of between Bristol and Leeds, you just have to turn left out of Bristol and keep going for about 60 miles, lovely scenery

It's the big one tonight! Trowbridge Wanderers vs Trowbridge Town! Ended up doing Thornbury Town vs Yate Reserves last night, Big Toni Watola was there in his Rovers coat. Terrible game but some lovely home made shortbread. Off to Chepstow Town vs AFC Porth tonight in the Welsh League. The Welsh League is seemingly going all the way through May which, is great!

I topped the 50 mark this season now on 52 unique grounds. 32/92 for the moment but losing West Ham and York. Cheltenham brings it back upto 31 and will be 32 if Forest Green get promoted. Very much looking forward to ticking off a good few more next season!

Very much looking forward to ticking off a good few more next season! At least seven new grounds this season. Finished this weekend on 72/92, in a couple of weeks it could be back down to 70... Can't wait for the pre-seasons to come out and maybe do a Hull or Lancashire side.
