If you watch the incident as soon as the ball is kicked in MacDonald has hold of Harrison (as he did throughout the match whoever he was marking. Eventually you will get caught out and he did. Linesman gave us nothing throughout so he obviously saw the pull. Very soft though.

Weird. Ellis gets tugged/held, semi-appeals, has words with McDonald then the linesman gets involved. McDonald goes ballistic, gets sent off, then goes for seconds with Ellis who tells him to be on his way.

What was the lino doing for the penalty anyway. He never signaled penalty that i could see, just waved his flag like a lunatic, but then he pretty s**t all game apart from that

Never a penalty in a million years. Only the linesman knew why he gave it - but given he got pretty much everything else he had to do wrong yesterday that isn't massively surprising.
Karma for the phantom penalty at Braintree maybe. We got away with one yesterday.

Looks every bit as innocuous on the replay as it did at the time. Yes, EH is being held. But no more or less than what goes unpunished hundreds of times a season.
The Torquay player is a belter for managing to get himself sent off though!

Wow, even less reason to give a pen than I thought. I'd be very upset if we get one like that against us.
Maybe from the lino's pov he thought that there was an elbow, I can kinda see how he might have thought that.

And I assume the PL linos still have to signal if a similar situation to ours arises so that it is clear to one and all what is going on. But guess the definitive answer on that would have to come from someone who knows better than me on that one. |

It has taken over from the flag across the chest as I assume it is more visible |

Looking at the incident again from the video, it does look as tho Macdonald swings his arms/elbow twice at Harrison so perhaps the decision is not as bad as I first thought. Maybe the lino thought their was a connection?
Either way its about time we had a `dodgy` one for a change. Swings and roundabouts over the course of the season.

Swings and roundabouts, Braintree had a pen for **** all as well against us away. However, IMO we were awful yesterday and did not deserve any thing out of the game. Can somebody tell DC to stop accommodatong Ollie Clarke (substitute at best), and never ever play Sinclair on the right wing again. Thanks. UTG

As a pundit would say "barnet haven't had a wobbly period yet" it's bound to happen at some time, or they loose Akinde, anything might happen. Got to keep the chase going until either we nose in front v Alfreton or we can't catch them! Also, Mad Dog could be a target for Gillingham. Lots could happen in the next month. Or Millwall if Ollie gets the chop ! |

If you want proof of your sniping at JW then go back to June /July of 2013 when you were calling for his sacking deapite his saving us from relegation Find me the proof, this must be the 5th time you've said the same thing, to which i've told you i didn't say that. The first time I called for him to be sacked was late September/early october 2013 during a horrific run of results in which any other club in the football league would have acted and got rid. It's getting really tiresome for me on here recently with certain people saying i've said things i never have, it's a shocking case of putting false words into someones mouth. Crawl back under the rock you've just popped out of Padstow, you must be gutted how well DC and the players are doing this season. |
