Well, couldn't get too much from this game so 1-1 ain't bad. I just worry a bit about those additional 2 points biting us in the butt in the future.

Frustrating match to watch and lucky to get a point at all, not because they were better, but because we were so poor going forwards.
On the bright side; the need for a creative midfield player was strongly reaffirmed today!

Definite penalty - right in front of me, their lad climbed all over Harrison at the back stick. Silly temper tantrum at the officials led to a second yellow.

I'm disappointed to drop the points but we didn't deserve to win today. We got away with a poor all round performance.
We didn't even get going until Sinclair moved inside and we changed shape, which was obviously required from the moment the teams took the field.
Parkes was man of the match today for me. I thought Sinclair was very poor out wide, and gave away far too many fouls. He did make a difference when he moved infield though.
Torquay looked a good deal better than on Boxing Day, but we still should be good enough to beat them.

They have Downes in defence - ATTACK them! I remember Downes playing for us at Dagenham - unbelievably poor player... |
