Things ticking along nicely, i'm certainly enjoying this season, a bright young manager and a squad packed full of hardworking individuals with great attitudes and the potential to go on and get us back into the football league at the first attempt which would be an incredible achievement. Wouldn't it be nice if we can say Decemeber is the 'positive' month after 4 years of it being an awful month, everyone making sure we are all on the same page helping push the team forward into the new year with hopefully some serious momentum.

Mightily relieved. This is a defining and pivotal win. Maybe now the team will believe in themselves ? Very happy with the win. Or maybe a certain element of the so called support will start to believe in the team.... Not aimed at you btw, there have been and will continue to be people cuing up to wish Clarke the sack. This isn't the Bristol Rovers I used to support anymore, decent fans fob it off as 82ers on a wind up but it isn't unfortunately. The day absolutely everyone supports the team and manager is the day they get a huge boost and a much better chance of success, common sense to many but not all. I will ALWAYS want the team to win and root for that though I won't hide my contempt for the incumbents of box 1. All I care about, right now, is for a quick return to FL.

Great win, well deserved. We created all the chances and didnt let Barnet do much. Well done Gas
I hope that is not celebrating mediocrity

Totally with you with regards to Box 1 and share the same reasons as you for the absence at games, im keeping fit more often now in an attempt to outlive the said incumbents and wait for a return to the club!

Just back. We were great first half should have been in front. Mildy didn't move for the 30yard shot, strange, I didnt see any deflection, he just didn't seem to see it. Akin de a handful but we really didn't look like conceding.
Second half Barnet had a lot of the ball but again not really dangerous. We huffed a bit in the second half. Marty Taylor's control is excellent his work rate impressive, he scored and also missed one or two. I understand why DC likes him.
Great result, we still aren't playing our best but we have players totally committed. This team compared to last year, I know which one I prefer to watch.

For me definitely, if it was a head it would have been a proper clearance. The guy tipped it over the bar, fair play though he tried to disguise it as a header & got away with it. The ref gave a pen, the Lino got Into position & then seemed to change his mind when the barnet players went stampeding towards him. Total bottle job.

DC, very jolly on RadBris, said it wasn't. He apologised to the lino at half-time, said he'd called him a few things in the heat of the moment when it happened

That's more than once now DC substitute decisions have earned us points. Credit to manager.
Credit to the team for persistent pressure, endeavour and professionalism....which reflects on DC.
And I'm sorry, the way he celebrated at the end when that goal went in.....good on ya! CLARKE IN!
Great performance and good game, especially in torrid conditions.
It looked handball from the East Stand to me but what do I know?!!

Had to laugh when Monkhouse went off, if you believed the blokes behind us, he's a steaming load of garbage! Crazy how they conveniently forgot the fantastic ball he gave for Taylor to score the first. Anyway, if there was ever a time to score a last minute winner it was tonight. UTG!!!

BOOOOOOM! GTFI!
Yes, it was handball, the officials completely bottled it, shocking decision. Should have been 2-0 and Barnet down to ten men
Thoroughly well deserved win in the end. LDV ripped the back out of TWO Barnet left backs, the first one struggling so badly he was pulled after 20 odd minutes and then the second bloke was even worse if anything.
Very, very optimistic after that. COYB

I thought their no3 was pulled off because he just wasn't there and was a shadow whom already booked. The no16 I thought done much better, but lets be honest LDV is streets ahead of this league. Just the quality of deliveries alone has made the whole tempo and tone of our attacking play look more balanced and cohesive. Definitely too good at this level and a brilliant acquisition, so credit to management team and scouting network for recruiting such talent. To make league leaders by a country mile and MadDog make a tactical defensive sub so early on in match speaks volumes...

Didn't see any deflection for their goal, but definitely a header to stop them going 2-0 down. Best clearance I've seen in years.
